This unit is cleaned and meticulously maintained personally by the owners. We are licensed by the Town of Old Orchard Beach and the State of Maine and are in full compliance with all fire, health, safety, and tax regulations.

Why the Owner Chose Old Orchard Beach
Rick has spent time in Old Orchard Beach every Summer since 1970, and a walk through town now has the same timeless feel that it had back then. OOB is less than 2 hours from our home in Waltham, Massachusetts. It offers anything we could possibly want in a Summer vacation. We can sunbathe on the beach, indulge in some guilty pleasure fried clams and Pier Fries, or sit on the beach at night and listen to the surf. It's a perfect remedy for the madness of life in the city.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We can walk to the pier and the beach without the hassle of paying to park. If there's a pop up shower we can wait it out and head back to the beach when it's over. The condo is right in the center of activity, yet it's on a side street that offers quiet and privacy. But the feature that we really fell in love with was the front porch. It's a perfect place to unwind and watch the sun set.

Kathy works as a medical assistant at a Boston hospital and Rick is an automobile mechanic. We have 2 grown daughters. We are nearing retirement age and look forward to someday being able to spend more time in Maine and savor the sweet New England Summers.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the condo during our honeymooon and were extremely pleased with the accomodations and the accurancy of the advertisement.It was very clean and we had all the amenities that were promised. It was literally a 4 minute walk to the pier and beach. We would highly recommend this condo to all. Next time we are in OOB staying here is a no-brainer...

My family (myself, wife, and 2 small kids) had a great time in this condo. It's location is excellent. You're close enough to restaurants such as Beach Bagels, where you can grab some takeout and bring it back to the condo. It's also real close to the trolley stop in case you don't want to drive. I'd say the beach is about a 7-8 minute walk (less without little kids). It's also the best unit in the building since you have a private entrance, and no one has to walk by your windows to get to their unit. Even the assigned parking space was great, since it was always in the shade under a tree. The owner Rick was waiting for us when we arrived, and gave us a quick tour of the place. Everything we needed was there. The condo was spotless. There was plenty of room for the kids to sleep on air mattresses (including 1 provided by Rick) in the living room, while my wife and I took the bedroom. Minor complaints I had: The TV in the living room was really small (but we're not on vacation to watch TV). Also, the air conditioner in the bedroom didn't work too well (but Rick has said he's getting that fixed). But that was all. Everything else was great! I received our security deposit back one week after we left. Rick had previously answered all my questions quickly and honestly. I've had some bad experiences with rentals in Old Orchard, so I'm very happy to know that when we want to stay near the pier, THIS is where we'll be staying.

Our family of four with two young children (ages 4 and 20 months) stayed at this very clean, very comfortable condo for a week. The layout was perfect for our family and Rick and Kathy were kind enough to provide a very lush inflatable mattress for our 4 year old son to sleep in. The layout is perfect and very spacious. Everything was provided so that if you wanted to cook and eat every meal there you could. The condo is a very short walk to the pier and beach, yet on a very private street so you don't get any noise when sleeping. Rick and Kathy are great hosts and did everything possible to ensure a great stay. Rent from them and you won't be sorry. Thanks for the great time!

We just got home, this place is AMAZING- Location, location, location. The listing does not do it itself justice.It is much larger than it looks in the pictures. it really is steps from the beach, it is so close it takes seconds to get to the main street, but it is so quiet sitting on the deck. If you did not know you were so close you would not believe it. It is hands down the best VRBO experience we have had. I traveled with my wife and 3 daughters. As other said Rick was great in recommending area attractions and food, also recommended a very scenic route home. Well above and beyond expectations. I can not wait for next year.

We had a great week staying at this property. We vacationed with a 2-year-old (not easy) but these accommodations were comfortable and clean. It was air-conditioned, which was awesome. The decor was beachy and cute. Kitchen is well-equipped so we didn't have to eat every meal out if we didn't want to. Also, only 2 blocks from the pier we were able to walk to food, rides and the beach easily. We were right in the center of it all, but also just a short drive to more remote or quieter locations, such as Kennebunkport or Cape Elizabeth. Rick and Kathy were very nice and easy to deal with, offering suggestions and being available for questions. Our favorite restaurant was Alisson's in Kennebunkport. Big Licks is hands down the best ice cream in Old Orchard Beach. And if you have a young child, Fun Town/Splash Town is a clean, fun, affordable water/rides park. This was a wonderful trip for our little family! Definitely recommend the condo.

1st time VRBO user. We hit a homerun with this place. Very clean and location was perfect. Five minute walk to beach but on side street so you dont get the noise from the strip. Many places tell you five minutes but this definetly applies. I am talking abouit 5 minutes with wife, 7 year old, 14 month old, sand toys, towels, coolers, and beach cart. We were able to put the little one(14 months) down for a nap while my wife and other son stayed at the beach. Very good resteraunts right there. We ordered pizza and brought it back to the place. We had an off street parking spot in the shade. The house had a good size kitchen.The kitchen was loaded. Full frige, microwave, oven, and many more. Fridge saved us lots of money. We went to Hannafords and stocked up. Rick had tons of plates, cutlery, and household items. The bedroom and living room both had ample space. Full bath. One of the unforseen bonuses was the towls and linens. The towels provided were the same quality of the ones we have at home. When you go to a hotel, you get the towels you can see through. These were thicker and absorbant. Linens were of good quality also. Laundry in basement. We used it and it was fine. Most places you go to the pictures in the brochure are much better than what you get. This was the complete opposite. Pictures here do not do the place justice. This place is updated. Kitchen and bedroom are bigger than pictures make them appear. After staying here, I do not think I want to stay at a motel again. Quality, cleam place with all the accesories you need. Was debating about writing such a good review because I hide to give away our secret place. Cant image staying anywhere else in OOB. You will not be disapointed.

My family and I had a great stay at this condo. It is clean, and roomy with great decor. Our 10 year old daughter loves the amusement park and arcade just down the street and we love the restaurants and pubs on the adjacent streets. The pier, which is about 150 yards away, is full of shops, bars, an ice cream store and a cool restaurant! Maine is our favorite state to escape the heat of summer in the south, and this condo is a perfect place to get away to!
