  We had a wonderful time at the Gugle house! It was well appointed, and very comfortable. We really appreciated the new beds and appliances. Ann's dad was so kind to let us in when we locked ourselves out the first night! We love Sea Pines, and have been vacationing there for over 20 years. We also love the quiet of Calibogue Club, and the lagoon view is spectacular! We even had an alligator sighting several times. Thanks to John for purchasing a new router so the internet would work for us. We plan to return at the next opportunity.

  We had a great week on Hilton Head. The house we rented was all we could have asked for. I would rent it again without hesitation. It was spacious, convenient, clean and with many extras (washer and dryer, outside hose for rinsing off after a day at the beach, bikes to ride, beach accessories, etc.). The view from the deck was outstanding. The community pool is 1 block away. Any part of Sea Pines Plantation is 5 to 15 minutes away (Harbour Town, South Beach, public beach, etc.)

  We have been visiting Hilton Head for many years and prefer to stay in Calibogue whenever possible. And although we have considered Hilton Head our Home Away From Home for a long time, your house truly made us feel at "home". It is the most spacious, airy, cleanest and well-maintained property we have ever rented. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck watching the alligator and the beautiful view of the lagoon. It was so nice to have bikes and wi-fi available so we could keep up with some necessary work. We always look forward to our annual visit to Hilton Head, but this year was extra special because of your wonderful home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  Hi John, just realised the we have been back home in UK for a week now and had not told you what a great vacation we had in South Carolina. It was a really memorable time. Val and I had 4 days in Charleston, stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel as my retirement gift to ourselves, I finished work after 48 years at the end of April, and we did all the tourist type stuff. Then Paul and Erin flew in from the West coast, picked us up and whisked us down to your wonderful house, what a beautiful place. We thought you were kidding about kids going down on the grass, but one morning we realised why as the was an alligator that must have been 7 foot long, what a highlight. We thought the jumping fish were a pretty good show but the alligator took the biscuit. Val never thought she would sing, see you later alligator, we really cracked up at that. Once again thanks for the house it had everything and more than we could have ever used, Kind regards

  we had a wonderful vacation in your lovely home, we found it to be clean, spacious and had every amenity that we needed. The view was a treat to wake up to and the house is set in a very peaceful location. It was perfect for our stay and we would be very happy to return. Thank you.

  This is a beautiful house, made better by very attentive owners who really anticipated our concerns and questions. My parents and my 2 kids 5 and 7 stayed here along with my wife and I. My parents loved the master bedroom, jacuzzi tub and view of the lake from their room. My kids loved the bikes, pool and PS 3 for some late night entertainment. The living room was spacious and instantly relaxing and the kitchen extremely well appointed. We would highly recommend to anyone who would like a clean, spacious, well appointed, well located rental. Bike ride to harbourtown, plantation club, walk to lawton stables.

  Nice house with a good view. Property was clean and comfortable. Missed having a TV in the master bedroom and there were no hair dryers for use and that was not disclosed in the property information.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: Thank you for your feedback. We have debated for some time whether to put a TV in the master bedroom. For now we do not even have a cable jack in the room, but that might change before too long. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention. As for the hair dryers, we have had difficulties keeping hair dryers in the house because they often get taken by mistake by guests. I personally do not have much hair to speak of, but I want my guests to feel right at home in our house and that would require hair dryers for those folks more fortunate than me who still have hair. We will go and get hair dryers and put them in the house. Another excellent observation. Many thanks!

  I know the Lord led us to this wonderful home to stay on our vacation. I had looked at so many and then this home poped up. From the min I saw it on the computer it had a very open clean fresh look to it. And the pictures dont tell how beautiful the home and the views were. Also a very peaceful neighborhood where bike riding and walking were very enjoyable. This is a awsome place to stay and is very close to everything. Just go there and enjoy every moment.

  We have stayed at the Gugle home several times and now consider it to be our 'home away from home' in Hilton Head Island. The location, view, comforts and amenities can't be beat in this bright and beautiful home. The home is very clean and well maintained. It also has a fully equipt kitchen with updated appliances. Our children love to enjoy a relaxing bath in the master jetted tub after a long day of boogie-boarding at the beach, horseback riding at the nearby stable or biking on the miles of beautiful trails.
