This is a beautiful house, made better by very attentive owners who really anticipated our concerns and questions. My parents and my 2 kids 5 and 7 stayed here along with my wife and I. My parents loved the master bedroom, jacuzzi tub and view of the lake from their room. My kids loved the bikes, pool and PS 3 for some late night entertainment. The living room was spacious and instantly relaxing and the kitchen extremely well appointed. We would highly recommend to anyone who would like a clean, spacious, well appointed, well located rental. Bike ride to harbourtown, plantation club, walk to lawton stables.
Owner response:Thank you for taking excellent care of our home and we want to thank you for your kind words about our home. We have taken every effort to keep the house clean and updated. We want our guests to feel like it is their home and we want to provide you with all of the luxuries you would have in your own home. You are welcomed back to our home whenever you would like. You left the house spotless. We are thrilled you could take your vacation in Hilton Head. We find it to be an amazing place for families. Let us know whenever you are ready to return to HHI. Sincerely, John & Ann Gugle

Nice house with a good view. Property was clean and comfortable. Missed having a TV in the master bedroom and there were no hair dryers for use and that was not disclosed in the property information.
Owner response:Thank you for your feedback. We have debated for some time whether to put a TV in the master bedroom. For now we do not even have a cable jack in the room, but that might change before too long. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention. As for the hair dryers, we have had difficulties keeping hair dryers in the house because they often get taken by mistake by guests. I personally do not have much hair to speak of, but I want my guests to feel right at home in our house and that would require hair dryers for those folks more fortunate than me who still have hair. We will go and get hair dryers and put them in the house. Another excellent observation. Many thanks!

My husband & I spent 2 weeks at the Gugle home, and greatly enjoyed the new furniture, especially the wide screen TV and comfy king sized bed! The pictures shown can't begin to illustrate how beautiful the house on the lake really is. The location is ideal, as it is close to many things but is in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed breakfast with a view of the water, wildlife, and serenity. The Weber Genesis grill was super, we used it a lot. Although I have to work a little most days on vacation, it was easy to do with the wireless internet. Probably the thing that made this such a great vacation was that we really felt at home here. I like to cook, and the house provides most of the items you'd have at your home. We plan to return next spring & fall. The Mintons

I know the Lord led us to this wonderful home to stay on our vacation. I had looked at so many and then this home poped up. From the min I saw it on the computer it had a very open clean fresh look to it. And the pictures dont tell how beautiful the home and the views were. Also a very peaceful neighborhood where bike riding and walking were very enjoyable. This is a awsome place to stay and is very close to everything. Just go there and enjoy every moment.

We stayed for a week at this wonderful home. The place was absolutely spotless and maintained to a very high standard. We absolutely fell in love with it. The views over the lagoon were beautiful and we will never forget the flying over of the huge flock of White Ibis every evening. Everything you could need far a lovely holiday was provided even the provision of five cycles which we used every day to get around Sea Pines. The community pool and tennis court (both maintained to a high standard) are about a two minute walk away. The location is great being about 15 minutes by cycle from Harbourtown (there are cycle paths everywhere!). The owners were brilliant and the owners dad helped us with taking in a baseball game in Savannah and a river cruise - he was so kind. The only problem - we love it so much we want to go back so we are now going to have to save up again for the flights! I would recommend this wonderful place to everyone. Come and you will have a marvellous holiday on a lovely island. The Hudson family, Chesterfield, England

We have stayed at the Gugle home several times and now consider it to be our 'home away from home' in Hilton Head Island. The location, view, comforts and amenities can't be beat in this bright and beautiful home. The home is very clean and well maintained. It also has a fully equipt kitchen with updated appliances. Our children love to enjoy a relaxing bath in the master jetted tub after a long day of boogie-boarding at the beach, horseback riding at the nearby stable or biking on the miles of beautiful trails. We can't imagine staying anywhere else now! Cliff and Carrie Hancock Norwalk, CT

My husband and I wanted to visit Hilton Head after not having been there for several years. We were very excited when we found this home available for rent. It was just what we were looking for. Everything about the home is FABULOUS! It is exactly as depicted in the photos. We loved the fact that the master bedroom had a wonderful view of the lagoon, as did the great room and kitchen/dining area. The master bath is very luxurious. And although we didn't cook (we opted to eat out) all the pots, pans, microwave, etc. are there that you could need. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and we enjoyed getting some much-needed R&R. We would recommend this home to anyone!
Owner response:We certainly appreciate all of the nice things our guests have written about our home. For many years now we have been blessed to have had wonderful guests who took such good care of our home. Many folks have been repeat renters and we love having them return to our Hilton Head home. We will continue to make improvements and renovations in order to make your experience better. Thank you for your continued support.

A golfing friend and I rented this house for a week in December for a week of golf. Apart from the fact it was bitterly cold all week, it was always great to come back to the house. Ample room to stretch out, a very complete kitchen, a brand new BBQ, comfortable beds and a convenient location. Everything a couple of golfers could ask for. John was also very accommodating when I had to make a small change in our dates. We would certainly go back.

My family and I stayed here in August 2010. The property was amazing, and the owners were unbelievably kind and gracious. This property has everything that Hilton Head Island has to offer. Beaches are nearby. Restaurants are close. If you want to stay on Hilton Head Island, I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed here during the Heritage Golf Classic for 3 years now and have enjoyed every minute. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to all Sea Pines has to offer. We especially love how kid-friendly the owners keep it...toys, highchair, bikes. A very relaxing getaway that exceeds expectations!

This was our 3rd visit to this fabulous home with great views and many amenities including bikes for the many paved trails throughout the island and free long distance and internet anywhere in North America. It is located on a great lagoon with lots of wildlife including the resident croc, in Sea Pines, one of the best plantations on the island. It's very close to golf courses, great restaurants and grocery stores. Owners were very receptive to feedback and responded to minor suggestions for improvement. Very spacious and well appointed. We found no problem moving right in and enjoying another fabulous 2 week vacation. We look forward to returning very soon.

Your home was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us. I was impressed with all of the amenities that you've put into the home - DVD, VCR, TV, stereo, books, games, puzzles, etc. The view from the deck was breathtaking. I loved your place!

Thank you for a wonderful week! It is obvious you care very much about the upkeep of your home. Everything was meticulously kept and we appreciated all the thoughtful extras such as tennis rackets, binoculars, menus of restaurants, etc. Our kids liked the fact that we were close to Harbourtown and that they could bike there on the trails. We also loved the pool! Thanks again! John & Kathy
