Emerald Valley is located in a secluded valley surrounded by mountains and clear streams which flow into our trout ponds and lake. The ranch is encircled by the Pike National Forest and offers limitless hiking and biking over mountain trails abounding with breathtaking scenery and hundreds of wildflowers. The wildlife is richly varied from elk and deer to beavers and colorful hummingbirds.
Emerald Valley Ranch is the place to "get away from it all"--so quiet you can hear the water rush over the rocks and the wind whisper through the tall pines. Sit quietly and experience beauty flashed into your senses, become serene, relax, unwind and re-establish your place in nature's wilderness.

We stayed here with our two young children and had a most relaxing time. The kids loved the hiking and fishing in the ponds. We loved the majestic views and peaceful family time. We had planned to be in town most days, but found ourselves quickly changing plans to be able to just relax around the ranch. Katie and Mike and the groundskeepers were all very kind and helpful. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We hope to return and have our extended family join us! Tip... as Katie will tell you when booking... bring all of your food with you when you check in. We didn't want to leave nor did we have to because we had brought everything with us. Peaceful stay!

We stayed at the Emerald Valley Ranch this summer for our 40th wedding anniversary getaway. We stayed here for five nights. We were very satisfied with our stay at Emerald Valley Ranch. We found it very well-maintained and the cabins very clean. The owner serves a fantastic breakfast . The pictures on their website very accurately depict this place. There are some great trails to hike and the surrounding scenery is spectacular. We also enjoyed visiting with the other guests that were staying there. If you are looking for a remote area to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a great place to stay. However, if you want to visit the city of Colorado Springs for the day, it is only about a 45 minute drive down the mountain. The Emerald Valley Ranch is definitely a place we would recommend to our friends and family, and we hope to visit again sometime soon.
