Once known as "Big Meadows" for it's fertile and open grazing land, Bridgeport California today is the hub of a year round vacation paradise. It's historical, recreational, beautiful and affordable. Enjoy a great meal at the fine community restaurants.
The Hilltop is situated directly between Lake Tahoe and Mammoth Lakes. Both are just an hour from the ranch. The ranch is 3 minutes from Sonora Pass and only 50 minutes from the beautiful Yosemite National Park.
For all you hunters, this home is located in the middle of X12, where all the big bucks are. Search for arrowheads at Indian Caves located just off the property.
Enjoy yourself on the huge deck that overlooks Sonora Pass, Sweetwater Mountains and the High Sierras. The views are simply breathtaking.
The home is 2 levels with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Every Bedroom has an attached bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The Bunk House room has a Bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom)and additional Twin Bed. The third bedroom has a full and a twin bed.
The large kitchen and dining room is a perfect place to enjoy a great meal together. The Spacious great room faces the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range seen through large windows.

I had a wonderful time with my friends and family at this relaxing and very serene location. The accommodations are excellent. Everything you need is there and the cabin is kept in pristine condition. The pictures and descriptions on their site are definitely accurate. The owners were also prompt with their response and helpful in answering our questions about the cabin and the surronding locations. There are a ton of wonderful outings to partake in near the residence. On our first trip to the Hilltop it was the winter time and we were able to go cross-country skiing near the June Lake Loop and Skiing/Snowboarding in Mammoth Lakes. The second time we returned in the summer and spent our time hiking, swimming, fishing and exploring the surrounding area. Also, the cabin is well stocked with board games and puzzles so we were able to enjoy the evenings together as well. In fact, although the cabin was equipped with a Satellite Dish and had plenty of movie channels, we rarely had the inclination to turn it on. I highly recommend the Hilltop for a fun getaway no matter what season it is. :)
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
