This cabin is located on Moore's Bay overlooking islands on the 17,000 acre Chippewa Flowage, one of nature's finest Wilderness Lakes. This lake has over 200 miles of shoreline and over 140 islands plus 95% of the shoreline is undeveloped since much of it adjoins the Chequamegon National Forest. It is a fantastic fishery with muskie, walleye, northern, perch, pan fish and bass. It has at least 6 nesting pairs of Bald Eagles!
This cabin is easy on the budget but high on the natural beauty of the lake and wildlife. It has level elevation to the lake and boat dock with power so you can easily set out to explore and fish this wonderful lake. It is a 2 BR, 1 bath cabin with sleeping for up to 8. It has a nice gas fireplace to warm up on those cool nights and has central A/C to cool off on those hot summer days. It has a nice deck with patio furniture and a small screen porch with washer/dryer on site. There is a nice flat screen TV, satellite reception and free wireless internet. You can boat to restaurants on the lake or you can drive to many great local restaurants near-by. You have a fire pit with free firewood at lakeside. New for 2013 is a large concrete patio attached to the house on the lake side. Welcome to the cabin we have named, 'Island View on the Big Chip'!
It is professionally managed by a local property manager, Northwoods Compass, which manages over 30 lakefront cabins in the Hayward area. Northwoods Compass has its own website by name which provides all cabin details. They are local and full-time so that you will receive excellent service during your stay.

SO PEACEFUL!! Loved the updated washer/dryer and other amenities. The bats were a little creepy..but on a good note;they do eat mosquitos :) The deck could use some TLC... but other than that...we had an amazing week! Thanks to Rueben for being so on top of things. Will be using VRBO again. Would stay at this cabin again in a heartbeat. THANK YOURecommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a very relaxing week. A few minor updates would make it even better. It needs an overall deep cleaning. We found other peoples chapstick under the couch and a few other things that a good cleaning between each guest would help. The lawn didn't get mowed until sometime thursday. It was long. Should mow before each guest. Could use new sheets and better pillows. I will bring my own. And the frying pans are awful will bring my own. Was nice to have a washer and dryer!! It was very quiet and quite private. We would rent it again!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
