Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Hot Springs
I built this home on Lake Hamilton after searching for a location that is close to all the attractions Hot Springs has to offer yet is quiet and peaceful and right on the water's edge. Most of my favorite restaurants are within a mile of the home and many are accessable by boat from the dock in front of the home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is so unique because it is built and furnished with all the amenities of a custom home and has a floor plan that is perfect for large families, familiy reunions or weddings. My family loves to gather here for special occasions because it is close to town and also is located in a great area on Lake Hamilton.

From the first time I contacted Jeff, he was a true pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We spent two hot weeks in June/July and were comfortably cool in the house. The floor plan allows for open areas as well as privacy for larger families and family gatherings. The photos and description are accurate so there were no surprises when we got there. We were able to conveniently dock our boat just outside the house. The house is located on a quiet cove just off the open waters to enjoy boating and swimming. Restaurants and grocery shopping are close by. We would definitely recommend this house. Thanks for everything, Jeff!

WOW!!! From the quality to the comfort ~ this was an absolutely amazing home! We had family in from Arizona and wanted a place big enough for everyone to stay together, yet with the 3 floors we still had plenty of privacy and space. Kid friendly! Loved the upstairs balcony where we spent most of our evenings. To the lake veiw and the boardwalk where the guys almost slept from staying up fishing all night. We had an absolute blast! Thank you so much Jeff, you were such a pleasure to work with! The Hanna Family

We were thrilled with this house. The quality and comfort was great and we had a wonderful visit. Everything is top notch and the views from the back decks is so relaxing. We definately plan on a return visit and hopefully the weather will be a little warmer and sunny. This is a great place for family or friends to get together & have a great time. March 2011

We stayed at this home in March for a "race weekend". We had a family group of 8 adults(4 couples). Jeff, your home is very comfortable and we all had a great time! The location is perfect! Close to everything, yet in a quiet area. The furnishings and fixtures are very nice, and very clean. Bedroom arrangements (being on three different levels) was also great for us. Beds were comfortable, in fact the ones who stayed downstairs were looking for lables to find out what brand they were!! We would certainly recommend the house to anyone! It had plenty of space for us for the weekend, though most of it was spent on the upstairs balcony! (Only problem - we were short a couple of chairs out there!) Overall good experience!

My family and friends stayed during March to celebrate a "21st" Birthday and to attend the horse races! We had a blast! We loved hanging out on the balcony and had lots of room inside! I will definitely rebook!

We enjoyed the 122 Chesapeake Property. We had 2 families (5 kids in total and 4 adults) fit wonderfully there for 3 nights. Overall: The property was much nicer than the photos reflected. I would rate it as a 4 star experience. We felt right at home .While it may be a 5 year old property, it felt new, clean and well kept. Great kitchen:The kitchen was fully equipped. It had everything we needed to make a nice meal. The three level home also allowed the kids to "spread out." Family Friendly: We also loved the extra kids toys for our young children. The channel water was great for swimming. Only downside, but was not an issue for us, was the channel is a little deep for young kids. I would suggest bringing vests for young children who cannot swim. Since the channel is about 3.5 feet to 8 feet deep. I would come back!

Booking all three of your houses on Chesapeake Bay - one for the bride, her family, and bridemaids; one for the groom, his family and attendents; and one for friends was perfect. The house interiors' are like designer show homes. Every detail is perfect. The kitchens have everything we needed. We cooked the grooms cake, fed 30 people two or three meals a day, the grooms family hosted the rehersal dinner on the front lawn with the beautiful landscaping, we had a seated bridal lunch on our front porch with canadian geese swimming in front, and the morning after breakfast. We had a party barge most of the time so the dock was great. The adults took the boat out at sunset and swam in the lake as the stars and city lights came out. The groom and attendents used the boat to go to Garvan Garden's for the wedding, the Clarion for the reception, and the bride and groom left the reception by boat and returned to the dock. There was always plenty of parking, privacy for all the guests, and lots to do. The houses are close to everything. We hiked, golfed, shopped, went to the spa at the Arlington and more. The extra night we stayed, after everyone else left, Mark and I sat on the dock with a bottle of wine and thought about how wonderful the week had been. Our girls and their husband's have told us that they want to come back next summer. We want the same house. We just need to settle on the date. Jeff, thanks you for everything. You and your homes are wonderful.

We stayed here for a week over July 4th and absolutely loved the home as well as location. We didn't know what to expect (or even if there would be a gas station within our midst), but this home was located 10 minutes from Starbuck's, Kroger's, Sam's, a sporting goods store, etc. 10 minutes from downtown Hot Springs which has a variety of things to offer - national forest (trails, biking, 360 degree view of the mountains, etc.), the baths (spa and natural mineral springs), a wax museum, water park, gangster museum, amusement park, antique stores, boutiques, restaurants, dinner shows, theatre, horseback riding and even German bier gardens and an Irish pub! Also, not to be missed is the Arlington Hotel, dating back to 1875 which hosted people like Al Capone, several presidents, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, etc. Jeff is an amazing host. The pictures on this site do not do the house justice! We took our 6 month old twins for their first "road trip" to help my mother celebrate her birthday. Friends also came. The interesting thing about Jeff's house is that it is three stories with plenty of privacy for everyone. There is a kitchen upstairs in the main living area and since we love to cook, could NOT believe how well-appointed the kitchen was! It was perfect! The house also has another mini-kitchen downstairs with access to the bottom deck and BBQ grilling area. Perfect for storing meat, soft drinks, water, beer or anything extra you don't want in the fridge upstairs. Two decks are about 20' from the double-dock which is large enough to hold a ski/party boat as well as a standard fishing boat. You can dip into the water from the very large wooden deck. The water is perfect and about 8' deep. We ate on the main, upper deck every night and loved listening to the frogs and crickets. The view is beautiful as to the right it is greenspace and directly in front is a park, which will not be built on, but allows access to bring your own boat if you desire. If the proximity of the restaurants, nightlife, etc. isn't close enough, several doors down, you have Sam's Pizza. A dive with great food that is accessible by boat (or you can literally walk 5 minutes on the road to get to it). Jeff's house is absolutely beautiful. He had everything we could want - cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, bath towels, etc. You name it! We booked already for next year and we can't wait to return to this gem we found. Thanks Jeff!!!
