Perched on a cliff on 1.5 acres of Water Island, overlooking the Caribbean Sea and St. Thomas, this beautiful, ground level, NEW, one bedroom apartment sleeps four.
Water Island is the perfect place to experience true secluded island life. But if the urge strikes you, St. Thomas is only a ten minute ferry ride away for all the shopping and tourist attractions you need. The ferry lands at Crown Bay Marina on St. Thomas, which has a dive shop, internet office, restaurant, grocery store, hair salon with massages, and pet boutique..
Our tastefully decorated apartment is fully furnished and a golf cart is provided for your transportation.
Several beautiful beaches are just a short, fun, golf cart ride away. Honeymoon Beach provides covered shady sitting areas with chairs, and privacy. Snorkeling off of Honeymoon beach is good.
Just walk right in! Heidi’s Honeymoon Grill cooks lunch during the week and dinner on Saturday nights. Joe's Beach Bar makes frozen drinks and offers other refreshments on the beach. There is a swimming platform in the protected swimming area.
There are other beaches on the island that are good for exploring. When you drive around Water Island you will be amazed at the tropical plants and wildlife; palm trees, cactus, lizards, beautiful tropical birds, Iguanas, all make this the island of enchantment.
The panoramic views from the old, abandoned, WWII fort on top of a hill are breathtaking. You can see St. Croix, St. John, and as far as Puerto Rico!
There are about 100 homes on Water Island. Our “traffic jams” consist of 2 or 3 golf carts at an intersection at the same time, seriously. Water Island has a tranquility and charm that cannot be found on any of the other Virgin Islands.
The sunsets offered on Honeymoon Beach are gorgeous. Come and see for yourself, "It Was Meant to Be".

We just returned from a week on Water Island. It truly is a paradise. Karen & Joe’s apartment is clean, comfortable, and most of all there are gorgeous ocean views from every window. You wake up to beautiful sunrises and go to sleep looking at the twinkling lights from St. Thomas. Everyone on the island was so friendly and helpful. I don’t think we’ve ever had such a fun, yet tranquil, vacation. Exploring the island by golf cart, the Monday night movie on the beach, Tuesday night bingo, Heidi’s burgers and the fun times and good food (especially the egg rolls) at Joe’s Beach Bar… We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+.

My friend and I just got back last night and want to let anyone know that this is a beautiful apartment on Water Island. Joe and Karen are so nice and very helpful. The apartment is very clean (and I'm picky) and within walking distance to the ferry and Honeymoon beach. Every night we were lulled to sleep to the sound of the waves below and the ocean breeze. It doesn't get much better than that! I would totally reccomend this place to my friends, family or anyone else considering to stay here. Hopefully I will make it back there again soon!

Kismet is all you could ask for in a vacation spot. Gorgeous views, fabulous breeze and close to the beach. The apartment is spotless, well designed and furnished. A very comfortable and cozy spot quiet and lovely. The beach is perfect for families with young children, lots of shade, gentle waves and great sand for castles. The owners are friendly and most helpful. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
