In 2009 the kitchen was completely renovated. This includes a full refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and filtered water, a five burner stove, oven, warming drawer, microwave and espresso machine. Granite slab countertops in the fully equipped kitchen. Main living areas have refinished maple floors. The bedrooms have new pillow top queen beds with luxurios linens & down comforters.
You will enjoy the puzzles, games, books, TV and movies if the view and beachcombing are not enough! You deserve it, come enjoy a relaxing getaway filled with beautiful views & incredible sunsets.
Participate or watch beach activities including commercial fish boats, whale watching telescope & binoculars for your use,skim boarding, kite surfing, bodysurfing, crabbing, wildlife viewing or simply enjoying the 80 foot wrap around deck. Enjoy a golf course about two miles away or shopping in Oak harbor, or historic waterfront Coupeville. Walk two blocks to Joseph Whidbey State Park or take a short drive to historic Fort Casey or Deception Pass State Park.
In the evening unwind and enjoy the sunset fireside. Let the waves lull you to sleep as they lap at the shore. You will have good memories of your visit to the beach house with Swan Lake Directly behind and Puget Sound in front.

We are 2 sisters with wonderful husbands. One of us is a glassblower and you will enjoy the blown glass pieces both indoors & out. Our Beach House was built by our parents in the 60's on our very favorite island beach. We enjoy the short drive to town, watching Whale, sea lions , otters, seals, eagles and deer. The rainfall is low on this area of the Island so there is plenty of sun. Enjoy the surf, the sand bar, good beach combing, play bocce ball on the sand.
Now we have completed a total renovation back to a beach cottage feel...if you enjoy Pottery Barn you'll LOVE our cozy cottage even while watching big surf winter storms.
Why the Owner Chose Oak Harbor
We kept our family home because it's a gem... a place to put our toes in the sand. We are within walking distance to Joseph Whidbey State Park and within a short drive to 3 others state parks where you can walk, bike, picnic or swim. We have good seafood sources nearby as well. The sunsets are THE BEST which is why the locals have always called it SUNSET BEACH.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The highlight of the vacation home is RELAXATION on the sunny shore. There is wonderful driftwood, seashells and amazing stones on the beach. Plenty of marine life to see @ low tide such as sea urchins sea stars and crabs.
