We picked Sunset Shore to visit with our son upon his return from Japan. Sunset Shore simply made the week! Well appointed, very comfortable, inviting and remarkably spacious. And the views of the Sound and Straits are breathtaking. We had our son, daughter-in-law and their friends over for dinner and I had EVERYTHING for a great dinner and evening. Our visit was in late February, not the best weather time of the year, but Sunset Shore chased those Winter blues away. We can only imagine how wonderful the property would be in the summer! (And we are sure we will be back.) The location is perfect for Oak Harbor, Coupeville, and the rest of the Island. We simply can't say enough about the property. The Owners were very responsive to our questions and have done a good job in maintaining the house and grounds. Thanks to them to adding to the great experience. A great value...

We loved our time spent on Whidbey Island. The Sunsets were amazing, the view was terrific,walks on the beach were relaxing and the wildlife entertaining!! We felt comfortable from the time we walked in the door. Thank you for sharing your place with us!!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful house. We had such lovely time there, watching the amazing sunsets, eagles and other birds flying in the sky, and breaking waves. Amazing view and so relax. "WE LOVED YOUR BEACH HOUSE FROM THE MINUTE WE ARRIVED. THE HOUSE HAS ALL OF THE CHARM AND COMFORT WE COULD HOPE FOR. THE REAL TREAT WAS WAKING UP IN THE MORNING TO THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH, OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS AND THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS. WE ENJOYED LOW TIDE WHICH MADE FOR GREAT BEACH WALKS AND THE SUNSETS WERE MORE THAN AMAZING! WE TOOK OVER 40 PICTURES OF THE SKIES. Two couples shared this house very comfortably. The house was well equipped for the impromptu pot luck, no nered for paper plates and cups! Well laid out, clean, open floor plan provides plenty of accomodation during the sprinkly week. The interior decor is welcoming, light and bright and beach. Wi-Fi a little spotty, and a 2nd shower would have been nice. But not anything that had a real negative impact. The beach right outside with convenient steps over the seawall, lots of wildlife, kelp and views. Including a rainbow ending right on the beach outside our window the morning we had to leave.

Stayed here with my husband and our two small children. We had a fabulous time. The home is perfect and in a beautiful spot, the kids had a great time playing on the beach. Short walk to Joseph Whidbey Park where we spent time walking and picking blackberries. Two thumbs up!

Perfect location for my family. The beach house had all supplies and was beautifully decorated in the beach motif. Walking along the beach was wonderful and perfectly safe. The sunsets were amazing. The weather was perfect for my 2 week stay. Plenty of room for 2 couples or a family. Very clean and well maintained. Close to all activities and the town of Oak Harbor. Thanks Nancy for a wonderful stay.

We just experienced paradise on the shore of West Beach, Whidbey Island. Our 10 day stay was so relaxing as we enjoyed each moment by the beach. The house is so beautifully decorated & inviting. The kitchen has every item you can think of needing as you prepare your meals. The large refrigerator/freezer was a special bonus too. The beds were also comfy and a walk-in closet for the master bedroom.. The owners have thought of everything for your comfort. Just a few minutes to Oak Harbor for groceries, a short distance to Coupeville for a delicious cinnamon roll, and a scenic drive to Anacortes to explore that area Best of all; walks on the beach, listening to the waves & watching the fantastic sunsets!! We can't wait to return,. Give this beach house a try...you will not be disappointed!

We had very relaxing 3 days at this very nice beach house. The house itself is very well decorated and has a great view of the beach and the sea. We were able to watch the sunset in the evening, which was very beautiful. Our kids loved the little rocking chair and table and used it all the time to site and read books and color. We will return again for a longer duration.

The weather was lousy, but our beach house made our stay on whidbey island, a real treat. We just watched the weather and the waves for hours in the warm living room. Great experience for our 2.5 year old daughter who was having a blast. We hope we'll make it back soon.

I stayed at the sunset short beach house in May for a getaway with my Mom and my sister. It is a beautiful place, even better than we expected. The views are incredible and the beach house itself is adorable. Watching the birds and waves and sunsets was so relaxing - a truly wonderful experience. We all loved it and hope to go back.

This place was just wonderful. We came here to ring in the new year and just fell in love with the house that was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We never tired of the incredible water views as we lounged around the fireplace and relaxed and enjoyed all the comforts of this charming spot. The owners were wonderful and provided the best service. I can't wait to return! You are in for a treat if you stay here.

Sunset Shore House offered spectcular views of the water and sunsets, of course. The home was well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The location couldn't be beat; 10 minutes to Deception Pass, 5 minutes to grocery shopping and 10 minutes to the delightful town of Coupeville.

I spent a few days at this lovely beachfront cottage last August. It was a beautiful ending to my summer. The cottage is quaint, comfortable and has all the necessities of daily living. This was the perfect size for me and my son. We also had a friend and her son visit us for one day. As a working mom, I appreciated the size of the home as it was easily manageable and didn't take away from my time. The master bedroom was a good size, plenty of closet space, private 1/2 bath and all the beds and bedding were newer and comfortable. The living room has a small pull out sofa bed which was plenty for my 10 year old. Cooking was actually fun in this well-organized new kitchen. The entire place was CLEAN and decorated tastefully. Plenty of parking out front. Special little vingnettes throughout the home and landscape. Did I mention the waterfront view? You cannot get any closer to the water than this. My son enjoyed playing on the beach while I sat on the deck taking in the views, reading and resting. The house also is equipped with wireless internet- whoo hoo! Loved being able to stay connected to my Facebook friends and catch up on emails. We had lovely breakfasts in front of the large dining room window- taking in the morning mist and first sights of the day. Thank you to Jana for providing a peaceful, lovely home for others to enjoy! A definite recommend.
