  Absolutely beautiful home. Clean, modern, comfortable. The area was really "away from it all" and just the getaway my family needed. Soaking in the hot tub on the deck, watching the family roast marshmallows over the fire in the peaceful night was amazing. The kitchen afforded me everything I needed to cook amazing feasts. Our host stopped by with anything we asked for or needed so promptly. Better than my vacation to Las Vegas!

  Owner response: We live near the rental home, and are only a phone call away. We manage the property ourselves, so want you to have everything you need when you need it. Additionally, we encourage people to stop by our farm where most of the livestock are, but mostly just want people to enjoy the countryside we love so much!

  As enjoyable as the first! The pictures accurately show the property amenities and cleanliness. They don't show the quality of the mattresses. No complaints from our group, we all boasted about the comfort of our sleep! Very secluded location with expansive land mass. Equipped to provide total relaxation to recharge for the outside world.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Owner response: Thank you for a great review. We try hard to make the house cozy including building a welcoming fire in the fireplace. Our place is great for family and familiar groups comfortable with a home built as a family home. Hope to have you ladies back.

  This was our 2nd spring break, spent at the historical, getaway retreat! We bring our two sons, and our two dogs. It's a wonderful way to get our kids back to nature, and away from their video games! The charm is in the original cabin, with the cozy fireplace, and years of history. The new part of the property, has all of the beautiful windows, with the varying views of nature. You can see outside from every part of it! I love cooking in the gigantic kitchen, with every modern convenience, while watching my children explore nature with their dogs. I will never forget the feeling of family closeness, which is hard to replicate in the city. I even had a chance to relax, and read my book in the large tub, in the master bathroom. Thank you, for making us feel like part of the family! We are already planning our repeat visit, for next year's spring break!

  Owner response: Thanks - it is families like yours that make it worthwhile doing what we do. For those who don't know, we also encourage families to come to our neighboring farm and see our sheep, cows, horses and chickens as well. But if you're not into Farming, you can easily do all those things mentioned by my renter.

  My dog and I stayed here for a week. So peacefully quiet and comfortable. Location is convenient for exploring surrounding little towns. The house is lovely. Wish I were back there sitting on the porch.

  I just love visiting the Stahl's with my scrapbooking ladies. The owners are wonderful people and definately accomodating. We nearly scared them the 1st time we came in with all our scrapbooking stuff. Would highly recommend to anyone. Looking forward to sharing the place with our friends and neighbors later this summer. Thanks Allison and Frank!

  The Weston House is amazing! Not too bad a drive from snow trails and definitely tucked away and secluded. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fire was cozy, and the kitchen was huge and a lot of fun to cook in. There was more than enough space (we had 8 ppl).

  Thanks for allowing our family the opportunity to share your wonderful farm home. This was an experience that we will never forget. Your graciousness and hospitality supersedes our expectation. The kids enjoyed the hay ride and Kay the family dog, sorry for the misspelling of her name and building a bonfire; although I thought another one wouldn’t get built after your husband left, but they got it together. Our only regret is that we didn’t get a chance to inquire about the history of the area and see some snow before we left. May you continue to thrive and prosper in the New Year? With all our love
