Positive Rating
We have stayed at this property at least 6 times (maybe more, you lose count when you're having a good time). While it isn't a CLASSIC MV property (i.e. ocean view, salty shingles, etc.) it is a fantastic place to stay. It offers two different living areas - great for big families or just a family with kids who need their own space. Two great big bathrooms, sleeping for a militia, an eating space that can accomodate that same militia and clean clean clean! The washer/dryer are invaluable, the outdoor shower a must and best of all, it is a very short walk to the Lagoon. This is great for the kids to splash around in or the adults to saunter down and have a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. It is within reach of everything. You can bike to the Circuit in OB, get to the Net Result for fresh seafood and be back before anyone knows you're gone. A nice back porch which is suitable for many games of Uno (trust us), and ample parking. There are three separate entrances which is really nice when you have multiple families staying - and some are early risers and others are night owls. We are a family of four (two adults, a 6 year old and a gramma who lives with us) - but we have had visitors from California, New York, etc and all have fallen in love with the place. The owners are gracious and accomodating (to wit: the time our SUV broke down on President's Day and they had no problem with us extending our stay a little longer). The house is well lit and safe, the kitchen is well stocked and just a gem that few folks know about. We've stayed here all four seasons and found it warm in the cold winters and cool in the hot summers. I know we're shooting ourselves in the foot by raving about it, but the owners are great. Give this place a try. The 4H's
