Great long weekend in Disneyland

My husband and I, son and daughter-in-law and two small children (3 and 8 months) stayed at this home for four nights - wish we had been there longer. It had everything we needed and more.... we asked to have the pool heated as the kids were small and it was great - they enjoyed splashing around after a busy day in Disneyland. My granddaughter loved dressing up in the princess dresses in the closet. It was a little far to walk to the theme parks with such small children but would be fine if they were a bit older. I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

We had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities of home. Liz decorated the house in a Halloween theme which was a nice touch to help celebrate the season. It was awesome being so close to Disneyland and wish we had a few more days at the house. Liz is very pleasant to deal with and will definitely recommend. Thanks again!

Dear Liz & family, We are so happy we found this place,everything its so close. We walk to Disney,the market,the Spa that was my favorite..We all had (14of us ) a great time in your home.The girls took pictures with the Disney dresses they loved it, the great pool, bar and game room where a hit for the teenager boys. I recomended this place 100%

We had a great time first time in a vacation home we loved it. The house was so nice....I don't think my family will stay in a hotels ever again with a big group. We save money on food, we had a place to call home at the end of a busy day, my kids swam like fish.Grandma was very happy to have a a place to rest and cook when the kids where in Disneyland. Great Idea the pool table for the teens. Best Vacation ever. Sashi and family

Mrs. Crowley, I'm suprised by the comments in the review I just read, 100% opposite from what we experienced. Our experience was fantastic! Everything was very, very clean. The matteres's were comfortable, everybody in our family was very happy with the sleeping accomodations. You were so generous with your time in giving us ideas, directions, places to see, places to eat, etc. We had a fabulous time and I will highly reccommend your property to anybody that would like to speak with me. Hi Liz Day 1 We loved the pool played in it for a few hours the kids couldn't get enough! PS went to Disneyland Day 2 Swam until we turned into wrinkle checked out Sea world & San Diego Day 3 Swimming & More Disney Day 4 Disney. I think we are Disney out so we went to the pool Love the house swam into 10:30 PM Loved the trip. Loved the house. Thank you! See Ya next Year.

We spent 3 days at Disneyland,went to Universal Studios,Knots Berry Farm, San Diego Zoo and Sea World, the beach and the kids liked the pool the best. The owner was nice, however house is in need of some repairs, hall bathroom very outdated with cracked tiles etc, old......cracking at master bath walls, and mattresses were very old and dingey, kids mattresses were futons, my wife had me go buy mattress covers for the beds and new pillows on day one. Also, the cleaning instructions were bothersome to us as well as we didn't want to bother with such things while vacationing, but not that big of a deal I suppose. Overall, if they updated beds and baths like the living room and kitchen it could make this a great rental. Pool was ICE cold, no working heater.

Owner response:I remember this family it’s was a last minute reservation they didn’t have a place to stay because the hotels were full and they were coming for a convention. I told them the house wasn't ready but they insist I gave them a great discount for a family of 10. They only pay $1000 for an entire week including taxes and cleaning fee. Because we were fixing the place and they didn’t have a place to stay and they were our neighbor from Northern California. I even meet them at the house to help them save money on the Pay Pal transaction. They loved the place at least that what they told me when we walk thought. Sorry the pool heated didn't turn on but if you would of pay for the pool heat fee it’s will of work fine. The beds couldn’t be in the conditions they describe because this house was converted to a rental only one year ago and all the beds have cover for protections by the way its only one futon on a bunk bed on the girls room and its mention on the website not all the kids beds has futton.Yes the master bathroom has some crack that we were going to fixed when we rented the house to you. Remember I told you the house was getting fix. I hope you reed all the great comments from families all over the world that has stayed with us in the last year and many of them put the deposit again for the same time next year. Too bad that only the families with bad reviews are the ones taking the time to write on the web site. I'll post some of the review from our guest book for the families interested to stay in our beautiful homes.

Could not have picked a better place. Walked to Disneyland everyday, grocery store around the block. Train station and airports eazy to get to. Had at less 10 everynight and plenty of room. So close to Disneyland we could come back to the house and have lunch and swim and then return to DL. or watch fireworks in the front yard. Would recomment the house and will stay again.

Great space with a bit of a catch

We were not aware at the top that we would have to clean the unit. Most other units do not have that stipulation. But with the a group our size, it did not take long. It is just a little difficult at the end of a vacation to need to mop and wipe down a house. Also, we had to do garbage duty to the street through a locked gate, so we had to carry the garbages over the fence! The facility was nice, though the power supply is a problem. There are so many plugs within plugs that we could not use the TV in the living room and the heater without tripping a switch. We had some questions for the manager, but could not get a reply. (Like the combination to get the garbages out!) And we had to replace the propane on the BBQ as it was out and the grill had not been cleaned.

Owner response:This was check in and out instructions sent to the Guest I don’t think they even look at them. Now you can judge yourself no one has complaint on any of our houses. The lock box code is xxxxx. Located by the main entrance next to the door. Inside is one key and it will open the lock for the door. Inside the house you will find key on the kitchen desk for the front door and the garage/ Game room. Please keep in mind check in time is after 3:00 pm we have another family checking out same day in the morning. The Cleaning crew will be at the property until 2:45 pm cleaning and sanitizing the house for you. They will not let anyone in into the supervisor finish with the final walk. Important: Monday: Pool Service, he takes about 1/2 hours in the morning make sure you put the solar blanket back on the pool. Monday evening: Please put the trash cans in the street. Gate code xxxx Tuesday evening: bring trash cans from the street. Wednesday: Gardner Services 20-30 minutes Thursday: Sweeper Day, No parking on the streets 8:00am -2:00pm on Thursday. Check out instructions: Check out time it’s at 10:30 Am Make sure all furniture is in the same place found You just need to start at least one load of towels, Empty the trash can inside the house and put them inside the big trash can outside, make sure the house furniture its the same way you find it, all toys in the garage or life jackets in the garage please. Empty the dishwasher before departure. Fireworks start around 8:45 PM If this person would have look in the garage it was another Gas cylinder full in there. I inspect the houses myself. I was available for any phone calls. I remember these particular guests 10 adults and 5 kids because I think they were looking for a free night. For the outlet story I'm sure having so many adults with computers cell phone ect. all the plugs being use at the same time it might happend. I take pride in our homes too bad some people don’t appreciate all the details this home has and just focus on themselves and how they can get free stuff. Please don’t let this comment stop you for a great vacation in one of our homes in Southern California Regards Liz Crowley
