You can take a short stroll to the store or a 10 minute walk to the town square and the main town beach.
Sayulita is not a mega resort, but a small Mexican coastal village that is populated with a high percentage of northerners who keep vacation or seasonal residences in this gem of a town. Sayulita is caught between the sleepy and not-so-sleepy little Mexican town. The town works hard to keep its local charm yet provide the traveler with the comfort that one only hopes for. While surfing is one attraction, we appreciate the family-centric traditional Mexican atmosphere and with a blend of Canadio-Californian hippishness. Why the Owner Chose Sayulita:
We enjoy latin/spanish culture and of course the lovely warmth of the beautiful beaches. Surfing is a great family sport and several breaks are minutes walk from the house. "Planned serendipity" had a lot to do with our family buying this quiet sunny house.
