Our home is located only two blocks from a great sandy ocean beach in the quiet town of Cape May. These are short blocks, so a five minute walk - super easy with kids and all the 'stuff'. We are on a quiet residential street - great for biking and plenty of on street parking.
The house is very clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and comfortable home for your family vacation. Open floor plan with fully equipped kitchen that opens to large dining room for great family meals. Separate game table in living room for puzzles and rainy day games. Wi-Fi and two TV's so you can be in touch with the world - or not!
Large upstairs loft bedroom with king, two twins and full bath with shower. First floor bedrooms include one queen and one with bunk beds. Double futon in the game area in living room.
Large grassy backyard with covered patio. Great relaxation for adults and fun for the kids. Outdoor shower and charcoal grille. Just a great place for a relaxing week or two with family and friends in a clean and comfortable home.
We include cleaning in our rental price so you don't have to spend your last morning racing around.

Our family had the priviledge of renting out this house for the lst time and needless to say.. what a thrill it was. the kids loved the upstairs "loft-type" bedroom with their own shower and bathroom. To sit outside on the patio early morning and evening was a piece of heaven..The house was immaculate and the amenities are wonderful.. just like being home! We so look forward to returning to your rental again, next year, Lord willing...The Darrell, Perez and Quinones families.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this cute house for our family of 4 and my brother's family of 4. It was perfect for us! Don't let the size on the outside fool you--it is very open and spacious on the inside and there was plenty of room for all of us to have a wonderful vacation. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom and our kids LOVED the bunk room. My brother and his family stayed upstairs and were so happy that they had their own bathroom. His kids had so much fun "sleeping over" with Mom and Dad. The two floors are perfect for families who want to travel together, yet still have privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked at home frequently. The children loved sitting at the counter for breakfast and the huge dining room table was great for family meals (it fit us all!). Being able to walk to the beach was a HUGE plus. Not having to pack and unpack the car made trips to the beach with the kids so much more enjoyable. The backyard was great for the kids to run around as we parents sat on the patio and relaxed at the end of a long day. It was nice to have the high speed internet connection to check in on the real world, when necessary. The house is decorated very nicely, had all modern appliances and the rooms were immaculate. We will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family of 8, plus a hired gun, had a GREAT time in this adorable little beach house in Cape May. Though we are a big crew, we were all very comfortable and found 1210 NY Ave to be a perfect location-- the walk to the beach took only 5 minutes! We barely used our cars since everything you need is in walking/biking distance. The Lobster House was off-the-hook (no pun intended) and the Wahington St. Mall is also a must see. We will definitely come back again....Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I stayed here with my parents, and family (husband and three little ones under 5). It was the perfect beach house - the decor was really neat and interesting and we loved the big dining table. Everything was super clean when we arrived. The kids loved the backyard and eating on the patio and the walk to the beach was so short - we just put the kids in the wagon and got there in a jiffy. The beach was nice too - not too crowded - more residential. Much better then staying closer to town - which we have done before and prefer to stay further toward poverty beach. Cute place! Hope to stay there again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at your home in Cape May. The location is great and the house was very clean and well taken care of. I found the kitchen and house to be well stocked. The decor and furniture is very inviting and looks better than the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised to see that seasonal beach tags had been provided. We look forward to staying there again. My family and I have been coming to Cape May every summer for the last 8 years. I forgot to reserve the house we usually rent and was unable to rent it this year as it was already booked when I called. I found the listing for this house while doing a search on-line I've never rented a house I haven't seen in person so I was a little worried. All my worries were gone as soon as I walked in and saw that this property looked just like the pictures and was very clean needless to say, I was very relieved. Thanks! About the owner: We have been vacationing in Cape May for 10 years. We bought our first home in 2002 and had so much fun fixing it up we kept going! I am a homebuilder and we have remodeled and sold several homes in Cape May and have kept 3 for ourselves, so if this one does not suit your needs we may have another one that will! Our homes are super clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and we keep them updated and well maintained.
Why the Owner Chose Cape May:
Cape May was a sleepy beach town that the developers missed and the locals protect. It is a historic seaside resort with a very active Historical Society. Cape May is a year round destination with an active year round population, great restaurants and lots of community minded business people who have a strong interest in keeping the town quaint, quiet and just a lovely place to visit, maintaining its historic charm. We moved to Cape May as full time residents in 2012 and operate a real estate and building company in town.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Fantastic restaurants and great biking town. Friendly people and laid back lifestyle. Very safe community and beautiful beaches.
