  4 couples (8 people) stayed from April 1-10 at Casa de Suenos. On the trip down we were discussing if the place would be as nice as the pictures... Its nicer hands down. All the rooms are great, the upstairs kitchen living room is super nice but the outdoor covered deck, pool and yard facing the ocean to simply outstanding. Makes it hard to leave to go do things. Marvin the caretaker and his dog Lassie were great. He looked after anything we needed. including hokking us up with Minor a tour guide operator who gave us great deals on excursions to where ever we wanted to go. Reyna the housecleaner was great and did and excellent job of keeping the place tidy. Few places we went local: Bahia del sol bar and rest. Excellent food and cheap drinks for 5:30 -7:00 happy hour!. The shack was excellent for cheap breaky and they had a live band one night that was lots of fun. Was a little dissappointed with the El coconut. We went twice, first time two people ordered the surf and turf and the lobster was super overcooked. Second time service was really slow(not that we were in a rush but keeping up with drinks is in there best interest!) and sand fleas in the sand gave everyone leg bites. All in all a trip we will have a hard time duplicating and will remember forever!

  We just returned from a week long stay at Casa de Suenos. We had two families, with a total of 4 adults and 6 kids. This home offered plenty of space for the ten of us as it is over 6000 sq ft. Each bedroom had a very well appointed bathroom attached to it. We weren't sure from the pictures if the pool would provide enough space but it was actually bigger than anticipated and so incredibly refreshing. I am telling you that the patio and outdoor spaces are by far the best on this entire beach. There is a gardener/caretaker that lives full time in an apartment at the home and the grounds are like a tropical oasis, which gives the home more privacy then any other home we saw on the beach. We cooked incredible meals in the indoor and outdoor kitchens and each night at 6:00 we witnessed the most amazing sunsets we've ever seen right from the pool patio. If you have never been to Costa Rica my advice is go now! It is a very safe country, the local people are so friendly. But you will feel like you are living inside a wildlife sanctuary. We saw amazing animals on a daily basis, but we saw them out in their natural environment just doing their thing. That was the most amazing thing about this country; it still feels undiscovered and authentic. We left there feeling like we had just given our kids one of the most incredible experiences that we will ever be able to provide them.
