Very quiet safe neighborhood. Beach entry is across the street. Perfect place for youngsters. Lots of windows and sliding doors to the Lanai makes for entertaining in the evening. The sunsets from the beach are indeed spectacular. Whale watching from the beach from December-April is a favorite sunset pastime.

Outstanding Home - Especially for a Family

I normally don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to after staying here with my family for week in November of 2011. Let me start off by saying the house and location is fantastic. The house is right across the street from Baby Beach. Baby Beach has to be the best beach on the island for families with small children. You can come there relax and not have to worry about the water with your kids. It has very small waves and part of the beach is just shallow water while the other part has rocks to explore. The kids loved all of it. In the rocks we found crabs, an eel, a starfish, and many fish. As for the house it is just wonderful. There were five of us (2 adults and 3 small children) and we never felt crowded. It was spacious and super clean with beautiful hardwood floors. There were also a lot of nice little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable like directv, wireless internet, tvs and dvd players, books, a bbq, a kitchen filled with stuff, and an ipod with lots of Hawaiian songs and popular songs. Also, the management company was great. Stacie turned me on to this property and was so nice to deal with. When we first arrived to the house there were fresh cut flowers and a small gift waiting for us. That was really appreciated. Vicky also checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. She also gave us some beach toys for the kids which was really nice and got good use. If I had to complain about one thing (and it’s very minor), I would have to say it would be the blinds in the living / family room. They’re kind of broken and let a lot of light in when you might not want light coming in. I told Vicky about it and mentioned that the homeowners should replace those with the same blinds they have in the bedroom. It would look great and work really well. Overall this is an excellent home, in an excellent location, at an excellent value. Our family will definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai. This home would also be great for a romatic getaway for a couple. Homeowners: Thank you for letting us stay in your home. We really enjoyed our family vacation because of your property. The KM Family
