Staying at vegaoasis was a memory maker for our family. Our four adult daughters came together from all parts of the country to have a special family Christmas. We enjoyed the kitchen and family area and had a small tree in the living room. The jacuzzi was perfect for the girls to catch up on each others' lives. It was a great location near the Red Rock National park and the Valley of Fire State Park. We took a trip to Hoover Dam and took in the fountain at the Belagio. The weather was wonderful and the house so welcoming and beautiful. We would certainly think about coming again.

Perfect place to stay in Vegas

We found the house to be better than described and the photos really don't do it justice. Everthing about the house is first class, furniture and beds were all comfortable and all the technology worked and was really welcome. It was much more of a home than a holiday base. We've stayed on the strip before but would now always come back to this beautiful house. The privacy of the pool and garden was a big plus too as was the addition of the weekly pool service and gardener. The house is in a nice, quiet, residential location but there's a large supermarket a 5 minute walk away which is really useful. The strip is an easy drive away too and we still managed to go there every night. We're now planning our next visit - sadly not until 2013!

I had a chance this past June to revisit this nice home for another week stay. It was just as great an experience as my first time some fourteen months earlier. Visiting in June certainly gave me the use of a very warm pool as well as the ability to get some much sought tanning with no tan lines - a very nice private yard and pool. The other feature I much enjoyed was the barbeue that was ready to go in a moment's notice. The large screen televsion in the kitchen area was a nice feature as was the ability of getting on-line so as to keep up on emails and important thngs from afar. This was probably the first time I returned home with a bag full of clean laundry. I look very much forward to another visit next season. This home has everything one would hope for and then some - a nice relaxing home feel in a very secure neighborhood, well equipped kitchen, great sleeping, and not far from the many distractions one can find in Las Vegas. I would certainly recommend this home for a nice relaxing time while in Las Vegas.

Just returned from "Oasis Retreat". What a pleasure! Found the home in emaculate condition, and wouldn't have expected anything less from our gracious hosts Phil and Cindy. A very spacious home for up to three couples or a family with children, far more than we had anticipated, for just the two of us. We found ourselves looking for one another on more than one occassion. A Great vacation spot, close enough to the strip to catch a few shows with ease, but far enough to be at arms distance from the noise and congestion that Vegas is known for! The backyard was SPECTACULAR! complete privacy and not even any neighbourhood noise, with a seven foot privacy fence we were like the name says, in our own little "Oasis", just what we wanted........... Perfect! We look forward to this being the first of many visits. All in all, a wonderful value in a marketplace that often times can leave you being shortchanged! We look forward to our next Stay!

Excellent location minutes from strip and within easy walking distance to a variety of shops . Felt very secure in gated community. This beautiful home lives up to its name with many little extras throughout the villa. The owners Cindy and Phil are friendly and respond very quickly to any questions. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future highly recommend.

What a great place to gather the family from Seattle, NY and Maryland. The weather was beautiful: warm and sunny. We spent part of every day by the pool and spa, eating under the porch most of the time. We found the house to be very well equipped and spacious for 3 couples and a 9 months old baby. The house is convenient to many outdoor activities: we hiked Red Rock Canyon and Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, we visited Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. It is also close to the Strip. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the Self Park (free) of any of the casinos and to be in the middle of the action. We had a great buffet dinner at The Cosmopolitan Casino (The Wicked Spoon): a little expensive but very much worth it. The house is better than the description on the website. It was very helpful to have contact phone numbers for the owners, the housekeeper and the pool person. The house was very clean, which was important to us with a baby crawling and exploring. We hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at your house! I think I had mentioned that we come to LV to rock climb in the Red Rocks Canyons and so spent all but one day out there. We stayed in that day because of very windy conditions......... we also had two events of some exciting weather while we were in the canyons including frozen stuff called "graupel" and on another day, a very intense snow squall. It was so nice to come back to the house and warm up and relax in the hot tub! We also found that having the food shopping SO close by was just great. The hosts were most helpful in getting our registration in order. We hope to return for another trip.

My family and I had a lovely time at the Oasis house. All the amenities were there, grocery store so very close and it wasn't a bad drive to the strip or even to Freemont Street. We hiked, gambled and then relaxed in the beautiful backyard. Very lovely and cared for house with everything you would need for a vacation.

We had a fantastic time on our annual get together. The set up of the house worked perfectly. Big functional kitchen, open floor plan, having a washer and dryer was a plus. We also greatly enjoyed the outdoor grill for quick meals in the the evening. Excellent location for getting to the strip, downtown, or nearby sightseeing. My husband and I wanted a well-furnished home for a romantic getaway. Oasis Retreat was everything we hoped for. The listing description and the pictures on the webpage don't do the house justice. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The house had everything we wanted. The backyard was gorgeously landscaped and the pool was just awesome! We were close enough to the strip to enjoy some gambling and great restaurants but were also close to Red Rock Canyon and beautiful areas west of the Strip. We plan on returning in 2011 and will recommend this property to friends and relatives. Phil and Cindy (the Owners) answered all of our questions and even have a book with recommended restaurants that proved most helpful. We loved our vacation!

Me and my wife just spent one whole month in Las Vegas (september 2010) and rented this property. We could not be more happy with the house. The pool was great, spa was excellent, quiet neighborhood, clean and very relaxing. The rooms was big and well furnished...and also all the amenities...we did not miss anything....except...we wish we could stay one more month. It took us 14 days before we visited the strip, because the property was so relaxing. But the strip was an easy drive down Flamingo road. The owners were available for any issues through the whole month. Thank you Phil and Cindy for the dream vacation we were hoping for!!

Trip to Las Vegas

We enjoyed the Vegas Oasis home, especially the pool during the hot July weather. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The owners were very helpful during the planning of our vacation and available if need be during our stay at their home. The home's location was perfect for visiting Red Rock Canyon, the Strip, stores, shops and restaurants. We also visited Zion National Park in Utah during our stay. It only takes about three hours to get there and the trip is well worth it. We highly recommend staying at this property and will do so again the next time we visit Las Vegas.

We had a great time! We went to see Blue Man Group and Cirque Du Soleil’s “Mystere,” visited friends, slept in, and enjoyed the sunshine. Temp’s were just right, we’d expected over 100 degrees but it never got that hot – the mix of sun and shade in the backyard was just right. The house is beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet. A great place to relax. We hope to be “returning guests” very soon! Thanks for all your help!

The house exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful with large room. Very clean and well furnished. I will be recommending this house to some friends who were waiting for our comments. Oasis vegas A place to relax

We have rented homes many times and this was the first one that was within walking distance from a grocery store (1/2 block) so we cooked most of our meals in a clean well supplied kitchen. (pots,pans and spices.) The location was very convenient to get to the strip, Red Rock Canyon which is a must see for the first timer to Las Vegas and a short distance from the house. The pool and spa were clean and very private so that we could be comfortable being naturist. The pool is solar heated so we were able to swim even on the day the temperature was only 58 degrees. The listing photos were very accurate and we felt like we were entering a house we had been in before. The listing should mention waking up in the morning and hearing the various birds singing. Very relaxing. Phil and Cindy answered our questions promptly. Thank you Phil and Cindy for renting OasisVegas to us. We hope to rent Oasis Vegas again if available on our next trip to Las Vegas The oregonians

I recently had a chance for a week-long retreat, seeking peace and quiet and a chance for some all-over sun rays, and found my stay at this beautiful home everything, and more, I was looking for. The home was very nice, super clean, and well situated for anyone's interest to be met. It was quiet and peaceful and close-enough for some of the typical Las Vegas distractions if that is what one is looking for. The house is a true home; the backyard is blessed with a lovely pool and hot tub and is isolated enough to be very private. This is a great place to call home while in Las Vegas and I look forward to a return visit the next time I am in the Las Vegas area.

New Years at the retreat

Arrived in Vegas on Dec. 26 for a week with my family. In all the many homes I have rented this was the easiest process to date. It was a very clean and comfortable home for a family of four. A terrific week of relaxing by the pool and spa at Phil and Cindy's fantastic Las Vegas home. The house was immaculate upon our arrival and we could not have made a better choice regarding our week's accomodations. The extreme privacy of the back yard and the quiet nights away from the casinos was exactly what we were looking for in our vacation out West after a long winter in the Northeast. Highly recommended to anyone that wants to be close enough to shopping and downtown, but also enjoys the peace and quiet of a beautiful southwest style home. We have rented 3 different homes in Vegas over the last 3 years and Phil and Cindy's is by far the best we've stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. You feel so comfortable and cozy as soon as you walk through the doors. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and still close enough to the strip to enjoy it yet be away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who enjoys some quiet romantic relaxing time in Vegas. Absolutely the BEST vacation that we've had in Vegas in 5 years and will only be renting with you in the future.

We had a wonderful time in Las Vegas. It really was nice to have a house "away from the strip". Your home was very comfortable and a true oasis from all the rush of the strip. The famioly lived in the kitchen and family room and we enjoyed breakfast on the patio.

Ten times in Vegas an we finally found the perfect place to stay. The home is beautiful and has a secluded pool in the backyard. It is close to shopping and is in an upscale neighborhood. Beautiful Vegas Oasis

This property really exceeded our expectations! Beautifully and tastefully decorated, and with all the promised amenities, it really felt like home. The kids loved the big screen TV and the fact that there was a computer, but my favorite thing was sitting by the pool in your beautiful backyard. It felt like heaven! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some great meals, and we enjoyed the barbeque and eating outside by the pool. I also appreciated that this house is situated away from the strip- it was very quiet and relaxing, with everything we needed nearby. A thoroughly enjoyable respite from the everyday! We have rented homes in different cities for approx 6 yrs.In our experience,Vegas Oasis was the nicest and best value for the dollar.Not only that,the pre arrangment contract,and instructions took any guess work away for us.All our questions were answered promptly and there was a sense of "we want to help" from Phil and Cindy.We stayed two weeks had no problems or complaints that says it all.A very nice property and would recommend it to anyone it is better than it shows on the website it truly is an Oasis in the desert.Viva Las Vegas we will be back for sure. We enjoyed your house so much. It truly was our oasis in Las Vegas. The crowds, smoke and noise of the strip are overwhelming at times. We wound up chauffeuring our now daughter in law more than expected. No complaints, happy to spend time with her, but she was staying at the Mirage, so we made many more trips to the strip than expected. Was always great to get back to the relaxed calm of Windansea. It was so nice to have a large fully equipped home with the back yard waiting for us. We felt safe and very comfortable there.

This is the first time we've stayed in Vegas and not walked the strip. Part of the reason is we were too relaxed at the "oasis". An easy walk to get our iced latte in the morning, very convenient. We look forward to our next visit!

This is the BEST vacation home that we have rented. The owners are trustworthy and honest. The house is in great condition in a private and quiet gated neighborhood. The pool is simply perfect. We would rent from these owners again and hope to do so.

Dear Phil and Cindy, Thank you for the use of your fabulous home. We were very impressed with everything and instantly felt at home once we found our feet.. Overall we had a wonderful 10 days in Las Vegas and the Oasis retreat was a massive part of this. We found the area very private and safe within the gated community and a welcome change from the hive of the strip. Ideal for us who love Las Vegas but did not want to be on the main strip. We had a fantastic time in Las Vegas! Your house was truly a relaxing, beautiful retreat which added to our complete vacation enjoyment. We loved sitting in the hot tub each morning, and being able to cook our own meals in your beautiful kitchen. There wasn't anything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, the backyard was beautiful, the artwork was incredible, and the amenities were numerous. We will never stay on the strip again! Your housekeeper was extremely accommodating and polite. She showed us around the house, and told us to call if we needed anything. Thanks again for making our trip so enjoyable!!

Dear Phil and Cindy: We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at your home in Las Vegas. The amenities were more than we dreamed and we were all very comfortable. Lori was kind and helpful and everything was clean and orderly. Your home is in a great location. We did some exploring in the west side of Vegas and found some good restaurants. The "boys" went to play Texas hold'em one evening while MaryAnn and I stayed at your home and worked a jigsaw puzzle and listened to some beautiful music from your great selection of CD's. This house was absolutely the best place to stay -- the pool and backyard are great, and such a peaceful change from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. You're only 10 minutes driving time from the Strip, so it's easily accessible. You're also only 15 minutes drive from Red Rock Canyon which is spectacular. I'd recommend this place as being far superior to any hotel.
