We had a wonderful weekend stay here! The smaller look from outside is deceiving. It is very spacious inside with plenty of room for everyone staying. I just can't say enough about how everything was so clean & prepared with all the essentials as well. Very nice deck & grill too. Easy access to the boat ramp & plenty of room to park the trailer. We look forward to reserving another weekend again soon.

This cabin looked great in the photos, but upon arrival we were all shocked at how the photos did not do this property justice! The cabin is decorated very warmly and is furnished with everything needed to have a comfortable and worry free time! The cabin was very quiet and in a very secluded location which was exactly what our vacation objective was! Not a bad drive from Asheville either. The owners of this property to an outstanding job in accommodating their tenants!

My family of 5 just spent a wonderful weekend at your cottage. It was extremely clean, great furnishings and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook or grill meals. We had wonderful time exploring Old Fort, hiking up the Catawba Falls and fishing at Elliott's Trout Pond. I would definitley reccomend this cottage and we will visit it again ourselves. You can't beat the price either.

This is a great cabin with all the amenities. I have stayed there twice now and just love how cozy and home like the cabin is. Very clean and well kept. The property owners are very helpful. If you looking for a great Lake James get away book today!! Near everything but just enough of the beat and path to enjoy the mountains at their finest. Make sure to check out Bear Creek Marina and if you like BBQ Smokey Que's doesn't get any better. Enjoy!

Cabin and contents are new and it's equipped better than any VRBO we've seen. Location is great-just 5 minutes into Marion. Owner is pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend it! Mike and Joyce Meyer

This property was the most well-equipped place we have ever stayed. The owners have thought of everything! It was absolutely spotless, as well. Neighbors were friendly and helpful in giving us directions. The weather was warm while we were there, so it was great to have use of the pool. This cottage is in a great area --- very peaceful and quiet, with easy trips into Asheville, Charlotte, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. The owners have put together a booklet with information on all area activities - this was very helpful and informative. There are lots of things of do and see. We enjoyed horseback riding, gem mining, and visiting a local winery, to name a few. We would recommend a trip to Little Switzerland; the view from the patio at the Switzerland Inn was beautiful, and the food was excellent.

My family have stayed here for 2 months. The accomodations are wonderful. The house is clean, open and has new everything. The place made our travels to WNC excellant. We didn't have to worry about anything but the food. They also provided a grill so that made the food even better. Also the added bonus of fully furnished, cable tv and wi-fi put the stay over the top. Any questions we had were promptly taken care of and with a friendly polite conversation. Sandy & Richard, Your cottage is truly lovely and so well equipped. Our stay was one of the best times we have experienced in some years on our annual vacation. Once we were able to gain access to the house (ooops!!!), we had no trouble from there on out. We did rent a boat slip from Benfield Marina, and that was a huge advantage to us.

As far as our stay, we had a great time!! Your house is very nice and all the neighbors were kind. Everything looked brand new in the house. We would definitely stay there again. Also, our dog, Sydney, had a great time playing with the neighbor’s dog, Rocky. Linville Falls/Gorge was beautiful! I’ve been recommending everyone I know take a trip to see it. We’ve recommended your home to our friends and family, as well.
