Loved the Sunset Chalet. Beautiful view, well equipped kitchen, and great location. The perfect place to come home to after a day on the slopes. Hot shower, good cable tv selection, and affordable. Close to restaurants, grocery store, Northstar and Diamond Peak. We will be back, thank you Sunset Chalet.

We just spent our week at the sunset chalet and had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the cabin immensely. The sleeping arrangements were great, the kitchen was too! Most of all, the view was as fantastic as described in the reviews. We don't know our schedule at the time but would like to rent it again. It was clean and nice, a pleasant surprise. We visited our friends who I'm sure paid a lot more than us and stayed in Agate Bay. Sitting on their deck made me miss our view and I looked forward to getting back. Hoping to come and stay again. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great view and a wonderful breakfast on the balcony. We also enjoyed resting on the couch after an adventure on the trails and the lake. What a great place. Cynthia and Gilbert.

From time to time I take the guest book home and copy here comments left by guests. These next few are by some children that put their input in our guestbook: "Your house is the best ever. The hole place it is very nice. my favorite part of the house if the upstairs. I am eight years old. Do any kids live here because ther is on T.v. Disney channel and cartoon network. My ant and my mom, dad , brother, are staying here. My parents are going to write to you on the day we leave from the Wallace family. Wow! we had a fabulous time . Really hate to leave, but will derfinitely come back. Fabulous view, payed games, enjoyed every minute. LInda Marin and family. Hi! My name is Lauren . We really enjoyed it. The views are beautiful. We had fun hanging out and playing board games. Rented a boat in Tahoe City at the marina. That was a lot fo fun. Giant Lake. ......You must be her for the sunset. Breathtaking.

My husband and I came here for our homeymoon and we absolutely loved it. We were very impressed with the view fo the Lake. Sunset was beautiful. We definiely enjoyed ourstay here and will be back again in the future.

We had a blast! We recommend Mickey's Big Mack Fishing 530 546-4444. There were only 6 og us of boat (43') and Mickey was hysterical. Caught a fish each!

We spent our Anniversary at the Sunset Chalet. The view of the lake was wonderful. The sunsets were beautiful and to wake up and look out at the lake from our bed in the loft was very beautiful. The Chalet is small but very comfy. Its older but clean. Also pets are allowed which is very nice. The only negatives are, if you come up when it is snowing you will need 4 wheel drive or chains to make it up the road. If you have a sensitive back you might want to bring a memory foam mattress topper to place on the bed. We will be renting again. We had our anniversary dinner at Jason's. The prices are reasonable the atmosphere is warm and the food was very good. Very close to the casinos. Went snowmobiling, would recommend it to all.
