We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. The location was perfect! We walked or rode our bikes often. The house was very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the patio for outdoor dinners! Thanks so much for your recommendations for activities and locations not to miss! We would add the beach at Aquinnah as a highlight!! Your home is charming and tastefully yet comfortably decorated.....we would love to return another time!

Owner response:Thanks!

Hi Robin, The house was just terrific! Really comfortable and homey - so much nicer than the business vacation rentals that are usually available. We loved the patio and the well stocked kitchen. How lovely to actually have sharp knives and good pans to cook with! I had no idea that the summer traffic would be so bad so we were really grateful to be able to walk into town (which we did almost every night) and ride our bikes to the beaches and the ferry. We also loved the outdoor shower so much that we never even used the inside ones! Since we were there during one of the hottest weeks of the year, we were very happy to have air conditioning - there were a couple of nights that would have been tough to sleep even if you were outside. All of the recommendations that you gave us were spot on - thanks for being so helpful! I really have no negative feedback and certainly no complaints. Maybe a few minor points of advice for future guests. The compartments for the soap and softener on the washing machine are not obvious, you may want to label them. You did advise that guests may wish to bring their own sheets but you may also want to add that your high efficiency washing machine takes much longer to do a load of wash than most regular machines so if they are doing many sets of sheets it will take 4-5 hours to get them done. And lastly, we did a lot of fun stuff - windsurfing, kayaking, parasailing, jet skiing etc. If you have any brochures or recommendations and phone numbers for those that you would like to support, that might be helpful to leave with the keys.

We made the trip home this afternoon, we had a great week on the island. The house was terrific and just as described. We enjoyed that the kitchen had a nice array of items for cooking, which we often find lacking in rental properties. The back patio and dining room were great for sitting, eating, etc. The yard and plants were very nice too.
