We had a hard time booking a vacation that would be fun for an 8-year-old boy, and a teenage girl. They both agreed that the week we spent at the cabin was the best vacation we've ever taken. There were a couple of days we just went hiking, played games, and didn't even leave the property....except to go get me Starbucks! The kids have already asked if we could go back next year.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

You have a beautiful & peaceful place. This made a great & much needed getaway. You have included so many neat & special touches to your cabins & the surrounding area. The prayer trail is awesome. Thank you for making this such a comfortable & beautiful place to stay. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in this wonderful place. This was the perfect way for our family to spend time together and enjoy the beauty of Colorado. The kids had a wonderful time romping around, exploring and playing on the playset. They even made friends with the children staying in the other cabin. We took advantage of the Prayer Trail in the mornings & the fire pit & fire place in the evenings. We had a great time re-connecting as a family and getting away from the hectic pace of life. This is by far the best place we have staying in - your generous hospitality has been a true blessing that we will never forget!

We enjoyed the time in the mountains so much! Although the weather was unseasonable warm we enjoyed the stove! Very cozy! We loved star watching and the beautiful Continental Divide!

We came for Christmas in the woods. Very relaxing and a wonderful cabin. You are above the others with the "extras" and it was so clean. Def will spread the word about this place!! It was a memory of a lifetime!

What a majestic and wonderful place. Words cannot express how great of a time that we all had. Each day I arose to cold and quiet atmosphere and remembered each day. Thank you for the Christmas tree!

My husband and myself stayed at Eagles Nest for a week during June 2008. I found it to be a very peaceful and resting place with perfect scenery and privacy. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was exceptionally nice and clean and had all the necessities of home. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes nature and privacy.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was the best!!!! Everything that you could possibly want in a mountain cabin was there. The hosts were helpful, asking if there was anything that they could get us...wonderful experience. We'd go again in a heartbeat.

January 2007: What a gift from God this place is for the ministry and for all of us who have been privileged to visit. My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary here. It was a beautiful thing. We are both working to provide care to overseas American workers with the Navigators. This place and time provided care for us. Thank you for your labors.

December 2006: We have experienced PURE and HOLY pleasures all month- a simple Christmas with our kids, sledding, playing with Carson, watching football, coming upon deer on our walks, drinking hot chocolate in front of the fire, sleeping in, laying in the hammock, roasting brats over a fire on the hill on NY (New Year's)day, being snowed in during 3 blizzards, praying together, sharing meals, watching Andy Griffith and Green Acres and enjoying the Donut Mill. Did I mention coffee in bed? Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Great cabin, amazing nature!!! We loved every bit of this place and (our son) started walking in the living room. Enjoy this place, reach for the stars at night, bask in the sunlight at day. Shine on!

July 2006: “Only two things inspire the soul. One is pain- the other beauty.”Aspen Ridge is truly a respite for a weary soul. After losing my father this spring, I have known great pain. To recover- this wonderful retreat has pierced my soul with utter- inexplicable beauty. My family leaves profoundly changed- and will return again and again and again.
