Our winter weekend getaway included family members aged 2 1/2 to grandparents and we all LOVED this house. The interior is light, spacious, airy, well-equipped, welcoming...wonderful. Customer service was great, with speedy, friendly communication throughout the process. Our 3 families appreciated that each could "take over" one bathroom as their own, with another 1/2 to spare. The elementary age girls were thrilled to have their own quarters on the third floor complete with 3 twin beds, a TV, and a huge sectional to lounge on. The toddler loved her day bed in the second floor family room and each couple enjoyed their own comfortable room. One other thing that we loved in this house were the hardwood floors throughout...you will always know where your little herd of kidlets are. This could be an issue for someone that has an aversion to noise but we rather liked knowing where everyone was at all times. ;) If you're considering this home you might like to know that the wonderful high ceilings do require a lot of stairs to get between floors....18 up to the second floor and another 18 steps to the third floor. This was no problem for us but is something to be aware of if someone in your group can't climb easily. The view of the lake is terrific and it was even warm enough one day for us to explore the beach. We hope to gather at this home again - it's a winner.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house is even better than it looks in the pictures. We had a great time at the beautiful beach and spent evenings by the firepit. The kitchen is amazing. This newly built property was beautiful with all the amenities that you can ask for. They even had a slow cooker to use, perfect for our meatballs that simmered all day! The customer service was excellent and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this property for a large family that wants to be close to Lake Michigan and beach areas. We loved visiting St. Joe which is only 10 minutes away. South Haven is a treat to explore too also minutes away. Perfect get-away! Thank you for your hospitality!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.
