A Taste of Greece

The rental house outside of Nafplion was just what we had anticipated for our first trip to Greece...and then some. Although the listing photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities, reality was even better! The house was gorgeous, the kitchen was well-stocked,and the bedrooms were comfortable. But our favorite features were not adequately described. First, there were the citrus orchards which were in great abundance around the house...and the aroma was heavenly! The house is actually situated in a small community, complete with its own little store and a restaurant, the latter of which certainly gives you a taste of the life among the locals. And the people in the area were very friendly and helpful. The view of the surrounding hills from the second story deck enticed us to make a Christmas hike up one of them. The house also comes stocked with ideas for local sights, restaurants, shopping, etc., though we ventured out on our own as well and had a few of our own uniques adventures! I would recommend this property to my friends and family. I hope to return myself some day in the future.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
