On the "Quiet Side" of Door County there is a "Dream Home" that is literally on the borderline of the Whitefish Dunes State Park. The views from are nothing short of amazing. As you look out the gigantic picture windows and skylights you will see beautiful white birch trees, an assortment of evergreen trees, huge sand dunes and a variety of wildlife including birds and whitetail deer.
Imagine.. a beautiful 4000 Square Foot Custom Built Home - with lots and lots of big windows and sky lights - that is built on the borderline of a State Park. Our home is nicely nestled in the Woods on top a huge Sand Dune that overlooks beautiful Lake Michigan. Take a 3-5 minute walk down our dune to a beautiful Sand Beach - the sand on the beach is so clean that it "squeaks" when you walk on it. You will absolutely love our beach! Relax and build sand castles with your kids or take a walk anywhere along a 3 mile stretch of the nicest beach in all of Door County!
When you are not out hiking trails or walking the beach relax in a vacation home that is ideal for large groups of family members and friends. Use up to 3/4 bedrooms, 2 more "open concept" bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and sleeping for 13-17 adults and children.
While you relax in the great room by the Fireplace your kids or friends can Party in the rec room with Ping Pong, Electric Darts, Card Table, Cable TV-DVD and Wireless Internet. Enjoy a family meal in our sun room with seating for up to 10 on the Sun Room table and 3 more at the snack bar.

Year Purchased: 1995
My father built the first cottage in the Whitefish Dunes area back in 1950. Our home was built in 1995. We enjoy gathering with large groups of friends and family. Our home truly has a "Dream Location" bordering the Whitefish Dunes State Park. The views from everywhere in our home are spectacular.
