  I made a last minute decision after Christmas that I want to spend my New Year’s Eve in Hawaii. As you might know, finding a rental in Hawaii during holidays is not exactly easy, especially not 2 days before departure. All hotels were fully booked, or if not, tthey were ridiculously expensive. This room was only available for 3 days of my planned 10, but Carol, the owner, went beyond any expectations and took care of the rest of the 7 days, by utilizing her local connections and booking 2 other rooms for me. And she not only didn’t charge extra money for these services, but also gave discount, because for various reasons the shuttle couldn’t pick me up at the airport, therefore I had to get a taxi. She is just amazing! About the room: You just can’t get this nice room for this cheap in Kauai, full stop. It’s nice and clean, the king size bed is comfortable, it has a great view to the ocean, the parking lot is close if you have a rental car. If you are planning to explore the island the location of the hotel is ideal, because it’s in the middle between the North Shore and the South Shore, but also close to the airport and Lihue. The hotel has great services, friendly staff, nice pool / gym / bar / beach. Bar has live music every night. I loved staying here.

  My husband and I stayed at this BEAUTIFUL hotel to celebrate a special anniversary last January. The owner was SO right! The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was SO pleasant. Our last big trip was to a 5 star luxury resort in Jamaica...so we weren't sure what to expect in Hawaii...we weren't disappointed at all! We went all over the island and were SO glad we stayed in this location. It was perfect...so close to so many great places but yet tucked away so it was nice and private. We did try the restaurant and it was amazing...pricey but totally worth it! The pools were FANTASTIC and were never crowded...we loved that. We went in January and the weather was wonderful. We even did some whale watching right from the shore at the hotel. The beach where this hotel is located is perfect for a romantic stroll. All in all, we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. SO GLAD we found this owner and the wonderful accomodations!!! THANKS...we'll definitely be coming back!

  Kauai Beach Resort is a great place to stay! Especially at these rates. If you book through the resort, it is at least double the price. The room is great, the views are spectacular. Carol does a nice job explaining all the fees, parking, cleaning, etc.. (I think the parking fee is to much, but that is the hotel's decision). The beach is great for morning sunrise walk, but as described not a swimming beach. Everyone working at the resort is extremely friendly. The grounds are very well kept. The only cons I have are the parking fee, and the pool is to cold to swim in the winter. The pools were completely empty, except for a few kids willing to get in. I would recommend staying here, you won't find a better deal at any of the other resorts. I plan to be back next winter, and hope to be able to rent this place again!

  We stayed here in January and would be happy to return any time. The location for us was ideal. The beach is not a swimming beach but we looked forward every morning to watching the sun come up steps from our room. The room is nice and the your are able to see the pools as well as the ocean from the lania. The pools were not crowded and you were always able to find a spot to sit. The grounds were very well kept. This is not an upscale resort but it has everything you need. The parking fee is way to much especially for parking in the dirt sometimes but you need to just balance it out with what you are paying for the room. We will hopefully get to returm in the future.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

  Just wanted to drop a quick note of apprecaition about the KB resort property that we rented from you. it was awesome and suited very well to our needs. we really enjoyed living in the resort and in Kauaui overall. The room was spacious and facing the two pools at the resort. Enjoyed every bit of it. Couple of Cons: Daily Parking Fee + Cleaning Fee + Housekeeping Fee - a better way might be to bill this in the rate, so it doesn't appear as an unwanted charge Happy New year!!

  My husband and I spent the most relaxing, comfortable, and fun week at this property. It was everything that was promised. The staff was friendly and helpful with the true Aloha spirit. The location is ideal and a car is not necessary unless you want one for a couple days of sightseeing on the island, otherwise the resort is very much self-contained. The room is well-appointed, very clean, and quiet. It was very nice to wake every morning and walk out to the lanai and see the pool directly in front of you and the ocean to your right. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

  My girlfriend and I cam over to the island to visit and was not familiar with this resort, but was very pleased and surprised! For the price, this rental cannot be beat! Great restaurants, perfect location, great staff, and even better Mai Tai's! I would highly recommend this location to others. In fact, I fell in love with the area so much that a month later I moved there!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
