  I stayed at the Terraza Apartment for nearly 4 months and it was truly my home away from home. Upon my arrival, I was pleased to see that it was just as lovely as the photos suggest, I was even more pleased to experience how lovely it was to live in as well. The apartment is wonderfully appointed with everything from a multitude of kitchen needs, washer and dryer, cable TV, wireless internet, air-conditioning and a lovely terrace to relax on. The bed was so very comfortable and the bathroom clean and roomy. The surroundings were equally impressive complete with banana, mango and and other trees through which troops of monkeys would make their daily rounds. I felt very comfortable and safe in my little home away from home. Whether your visit is for a week or a month, this is truly a great place to consider. The owners were very helpful and even suggested a tutor so that I could learn Spanish while I enjoyed the beautiful Costa Rican dry season. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this lovely apartment.

  Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Costa Rica. L'appartement est très accueillant et spacieux. Nous avons déjeuner sur la terrasse en regardant des petits singes dans les arbres. De jolis oiseaux venaient nous visiter. Le service d'autobus est très accessible et ne coute presque rien. Nous étions à 7 min. de bus de la plage. Mystica et Caribe nous ont bien apprivoisés.... Nous n'avons pas de mots pour exprimer la gentillesse et l'accueil chaleureux de Carol et Roger. Merci merci à vous deux. Pour ceux et celle qui veulent avoir la tranquillité tout en étant près de tout c'est l'endroit idéal.

  We stayed in Casa Terraza during the winter of 2010 from Feb through May and highly recommend it to any vacationer who wants the advantages of Manuel Antonio without the glitz. Casa Terraza is quiet,private and on a major monkey migration route for their bi-daily food foraging. We loved the birds, the monkeys, all sorts of butterflies, humming birds, and assorted tree dwelling wildlife. The atmosphere is natural and alive. Roger and Carol are the perfect hosts, providing for our every need while there. It is a short drive/walk down to the main road to Manuel Antonio/Quepos with a Bus every 15 min. The accomodations were spotless and very functional. Weekly maid service kept us in the pink and the neighboring Hotel California provides a wonderful bar and restaurant as well as a swimming pool. I would definitely reccomend the property to my family, in fact I have! If you desire a fun location for your stay in Paradise, Casa Terraza is definitely it.

  Dear Roger and Carol, Thanks a million for a wonderful time. Not only did we enjoy the comfort of your beautiful villa but we also enjoyed your beautiful gardens and we can’t believe the animal presence that you have. We actually had Monkeys and exotic birds visit us on your balcony. There was also an exotic tree that smelled so fragrant in the mornings and evenings that just put us in a festive mood. What was the name of that tree? Nevertheless we had a grand time. The amenities, decoration, and cleanliness just made our stay complete. We found your villa an incredible value for the price and we want to come back soon. We thank you so much and we hope to see you again soon!

  am a young Costa Rican pastor from Quepos and often have guests visit my parish. I have rented the Terraza Apartment many times for my guests and they are always very pleased with it. It is modern, clean, quiet and very convenient to all the facilities in the area. There is a guard on the property at night. The owners have been very helpful in negotiating reasonable prices as well. I can highly recommend the Terraza Apartment for short or long stays.

  I would highly recommend travelling to Costa Rica, and this is the perfect type of accommodation. My husband and I travelled to Manuel Antonio for 10 days over Christmas 2008, it was the perfect escape. The property is immaculate, welcoming and very private. The unit itself is cozy and romantic and features all the amenities of a perfect vacation. We woke up every morning to the sound of exotic birds and were lucky enough to witness a few visits by the native Titi monkeys. We took many day trips to both Manuel Antonio beach as well as the village of Quepos, where the local food is excellent. This was a perfect location to stay, as it is direct access to a small hotel where catching a cab into town is very convenient. Nature lovers will love this area, as you are a 20 minute hike from some of the most magnificent bird’s eye views of the ocean and neighboring villages, and your almost guaranteed to see some local wildlife along the trail. You won’t be disappointed!
