"Terraza Apartment" gets its name from its spacious patio surrounded by mango, papaya, coconut and banana trees and exotic flowers. Ideal for single person or couple seeking exotic tropical setting and tranquility, yet minutes away from the world class Manuel Antonio beach and night life of the area. You can take a different nature hike every day in the hills nearby, or to a beautiful beach a half hour walk below. Cool off with a swim in the sea when you get there in a protected bay where you will be lucky (or unlucky) to see another human being!

Perfect for nature - lovers because you may wake up to the calls of howler monkeys, observe titi and white-face monkeys, sloths and colorful birds from your patio, and hear the unforgettable calls of a pair of Great Tinamou, sometimes accompanied by a pair of blue-crowned motmots, roosting in the tree outside your door.

Guests are welcome to relax by the fountain in the garden above the apartment.

Built in 2005, based on architect Edgar Rojas´ concept of harmony with Costa Rica's natural surroundings, this apartment typically uses native materials throughout.

Most of the furniture is hand-crafted out of teak and cedar by local carpenters. Fully equipped with state of the art facilities, including both modern air conditioning and fans. Full maid service included, and guard on property 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.

House manager available to organize tours. Chef can be provided.

Only a seven minute car or bus ride to the world-class Manuel Antonio beach and park. Buses to Quepos or Manuel Antonio only a 3 minute walk away. Plenty of international and local restaurants in the area.

Not only did we enjoy the comfort of your beautiful villa but we also enjoyed your beautiful gardens and we can’t believe the animal presence that you have. We actually had Monkeys and exotic birds visit us on your balcony. There was also an exotic tree that smelled so fragrant in the mornings and evenings that just put us in a festive mood. What was the name of that tree? Nevertheless we had a grand time. The amenities, decoration, and cleanliness just made our stay complete. We found your villa an incredible value for the price and we want to come back soon. We thank you so much and we hope to see you again soon!

  • am a young Costa Rican pastor from Quepos and often have guests visit my parish. I have rented the Terraza Apartment many times for my guests and they are always very pleased with it. It is modern, clean, quiet and very convenient to all the facilities in the area. There is a guard on the property at night. The owners have been very helpful in negotiating reasonable prices as well. I can highly recommend the Terraza Apartment for short or long stays.

  • I would highly recommend travelling to Costa Rica, and this is the perfect type of accommodation. My husband and I travelled to Manuel Antonio for 10 days over Christmas 2008, it was the perfect escape. The property is immaculate, welcoming and very private. The unit itself is cozy and romantic and features all the amenities of a perfect vacation. We woke up every morning to the sound of exotic birds and were lucky enough to witness a few visits by the native Titi monkeys. We took many day trips to both Manuel Antonio beach as well as the village of Quepos, where the local food is excellent. This was a perfect location to stay, as it is direct access to a small hotel where catching a cab into town is very convenient. Nature lovers will love this area, as you are a 20 minute hike from some of the most magnificent bird’s eye views of the ocean and neighboring villages, and your almost guaranteed to see some local wildlife along the trail. You won’t be disappointed!
