Wonderful location, clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. Really a nice place. Owner was helpful and easy to work with. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe even in the wee hours of the morning. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy walk to subways, theaters, shopping and Central Park. All in all a great stay and we would definitely return.

We just returned from our trip to NY yesterday. I can't say enough about this apartment. It was super clean, good size, and what an amazing location. You are blocks to Central Park, blocks to Times Square, and blocks to subways. We were so impressed. I would highly recommend this apartment. The pictures of the condo are exactly as you see it.

Our first trip to NYC and using VRBO! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Great location, close to subways and very safe. Loved the unit itself and having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Things to note: there was only one washcloth and it was really old, so bring your own. And be prepared to purchase laundry soap and toilet paper and handsoap (they weren't stocked in the place when we got there) ALSO: to get the back door to lock on the patio, you need to hold the handle up No complaints here. great rental. will rent from again when we come back....and we will be back.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment in June for a week. We found the location close to everything especially Times Square and Theatres. We walked everywhere from here and its a very safe neighbourhood. The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people. There was plenty of room for 2 big suitcases in the cupboard. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We found the organic wholefood market at Columbus Circle wonderful for supplies and we used the kitchen (surprising large and well equiped) in the apartment frequently. The doormen were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this apartment for your next stay in NYC.

This property is in an ideal location in midtown Manhattan. We walked easily to Columbus Circle, Central Park, Broadway and the theater district, MOMA, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. It's a half-block to 9th Ave and lots of good restaurants. Also a short walk to the subway. The apartment has a good kitchen, Wifi, 24-hour doorman and good security.

I need to say that I was really worried to rent an apartament abroad (paying full in advance) with no "real" references about the place or owners. I decided "pay to see" and now I can say: It was my best deal. Stop looking and don´t think twice. Stay here. Roy and staff were great. The apartament it´s big and confortable enough for two people. Full kitchen. Washing and dryer machine. Small closet and balcony. Simply Perfect. Close of everything you need. Few blocks from Time Square and theatres. Few blocks from Central Park. With many restaurants around. Safe and quiet build and neiborhood. Doormen are perfect. I spent 3 weeks there and will be back. Trust me. Here is your perfect NY. I will post the same thing on Trip Advisor and you can reach me there: trip36 on Rio de Janeiro. I will be glad to help and be a real reference. I really enjoyed my time there...

This was my first time hiring an apartment in New York instead of staying in a hotel and it was the best decision I could have made. This apartment is a fantastic unit in an excellent location - only a couple of blocks from Times Square, six blocks from Central Park and only a five minute walk to 5th Avenue. What more could you ask for?! Just at the end of the block there's a bagel bar, HSBC and Duane Reade with a subway station only a short walk away. The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect match to the photos on the site. Upon arrival at the apartment, we were delighted to find how well stocked it was with everything that we needed. After an exhausting journey from the UK to NY with the recent snow problems, finding a selection of take-out menus in the kitchen drawer was an absolute treat. And as NY is the city that never sleeps - we were able to order wine and take-out to the apartment to make ourselves feel at home! Having free wifi access was a blessing as we used it daily our plan our days. The heating in the apartment was great. As we travelled to NY in winter, we were worried that it would be really cold in the apartment, but we needn't have worried - we blasted the the heating up and the apartment was toasty in no time! I would also agree with previous reviews that it definately feels safe walking back late at night - even at 2am and 5am in the morning. Adrienne was a pleasure to deal with and responded to all of our emails and answered all my questions really quickly. The doorman was so helpful and friendly and let us leave our cases with him until we caught our late flight home. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definately be staying here again when I next go back to New York.

This was our first time renting someone's privately owner property, rather than using a hotel. I was slightly nervous not knowing what the location would be like, and how safe I would feel. This property's location is perfect! Close to broadway, times square, and yet set apart enough that it was quiet and safe. We never felt unsafe walking the neighborhood - even late at night. The property itself was well kept, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity. Kitchen helped save money on breakfasts, and the laundry facility was a MUST - especially since we had a 10 day trip. Working with owners was easy! Again, I cannot stress how awesome this location is! We wanted to stay in manhatten but didn't have the budget to stay in a decent hotel and this turned out even better than any hotel!

This is my second time working with the property owners. Last year I stayed in their Chelsea location. It was not available on the dates I requested. So I decided to try this midtown stunner. Once again I was not disappointed. Pictures were very accurate. I lived in NY for 10 years. I could not believe how quiet this unit was. High-End " everything" Very friendly doormen. Near many fantastic restaurants and walking distance to as much theater as you can handle. Having a washer and dryer was a huge bonus. Upon departure I left a Christmas Gift in the unit. I did not realize it until I was on the plane heading home. The owners were kind enough to Fed Ex it to me asap. Very much appreciated. I doubt you will have a luxury experience like this for the cost per night anywhere else. Highly Recommended.

We are most satisfied with our five-night-stay in the apartment on 53rd street. It looked as described on the photos and was nicely decorated. Except from the air-condition/ventilation (which was not disturbing) the apartment was very quiet and no disturbing noice from the outside. Everything from booking, payment, keys, the concierge worked very well. We will most definetly book this apartment again if we get to come back to this amazing city!

Location is excellent - easy walking to most major attractions (eg.Central Park, Broadway, public transport) Good safe area. Photos make apartment look bigger than it actually is, but it is plenty big enough for 2 people. Kitchen fridge, stove etc excellent - but no toaster. It was clean but needs a bit of attention to a few minor details - with that it will be excellent.(Owner has been advised of this) Owner has been very helpful and cooperative in all ways. Would have no hesitation in recommending the property to anyone wishing to use it. Property has a fold out extra bed - but not enough room to use it without climbing over it to go anywhere.Should be removed.. Unit great for any two people - specially those without a vehicle.

This was my first trip to NYC and a friend of mine recommended the Homeaway site. The studio apartment was pure gold! Perfect location and very comfortable. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities were fantastic and the location surprisingly quiet. The best part was the location though. So close to the Theatre District (which was important for me), restaurants, food stores and Central Park! I felt completely safe walking around late at night by myself in this part of town. The owners were so easy to deal. I definitely recommend this studio.

The description provided by the owner was accurate as for the amenities and the great location, the customer service was quite easy-going and the property was well-maintained. We disliked the bed, which was not very comfortable, and the noisy refrigerator and a/c, which made such an incredible noise, the a/c even when it was off!). Nevertheless we'd definitely recommend this property to a friend. We really had a great time in NY. Thanks

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. the apartment was perfect for the two of us. It is very close to midtown, times square, and wonderful restaurants. It is in a secure area, with a doorman and it was very safe at night. There was a grocery store right around the corner which enabled us to save money by buying simple breakfast and snack items. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very helpful and prompt in answering our questions. We would definitely stay again.

Apt. was as advertised! I felt very comfortable & right at home. The location is super.....I walked everywhere & felt very safe even late at night coming back from a show. I was traveling alone & never felt like I couldn't go where I wanted to go. Adrienne was a pleasure to deal with & always was available if I had any questions. There are restaurants of every cuisine close at hand. Lovely Sunday brunch at Caffe Cielo around the corner, Q2 Thai & Renaissance, with alot of entrees to choose from. Walk to Museum of Modern Art on 53rd bet. 5th & 6th Ave. The apt. is very quiet & relaxing after you have a big day of siteseeing. I concur that the tub would be difficult to get in & out of for someone elderly. The bed was very comfortable & I slept like a log. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. I will recommend this unit to a friend & I hope I can visit again next year. NEW YORK IS FABULOUS!!!

This fabulous Junior Suite condo was perfect for my one week stay in New York. Down the street is restaurant Row Hells Kitchen, for great dining experience at affordable prices. This condo is Just a few blocks away from Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park. The concierge service is very helpful and friendly. I loved my stay at this very modern spacious fully furnished and very clean condo. Adrienne the owner was very helpful arranging my stay and answering all my questions. I will stay here again the next time I visit NY. Near subways and a cab ride uptown or down was never more than { $10.00 .} The neighborhood was safe as I walked to the nearby grocery store a few times late at night.

Spacious, modern studio apartment, very clean with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet at night with small balcony facing away from the street. Friendly helpful reception manned 24x7 . Location for us was perfect. Less than 10mins from subway and less than 5mins from 2 supermarkets (one organic) , a corner deli and a fine Italian restaurant. Just over 10mins walk to Times Square, MOMO or Central Park. We stayed for 5 nights and had special arrival and departure arrangements which the owner was extremety helpful with. Would certainly recommend to a friend (already have!) and would come again ourselves next time we are in New York.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September. It was great. It's a few blocks from the theatre district and a few blocks in the other direction from Central Park. There was a terrific grocery store close by with prepared food and wonderful coffee. On Sunday there is a market on Eighth Avenue for blocks and blocks. The apartment is pretty, the kitchen was well equiped and lovely, the bed was comfortable, the concierges were very nice, and when we return to New York, we'll stay here again. Proviso: The bathtub/shower is very deep and would be difficult for an elderly person to climb in and out of.

Property descriptions were accurate to the tee! The place was immaculate, quite, comfortable and satisfactory -- a true home away from home. Modern and contemporary furnishings found throughout. The area/sorrounding felt very safe, even walking at 1:00 a.m. Landlord (Adrienne) was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much for everything!! Ok here are some recommendations: Amadeus Pizza on 8th Ave. between 51st & 52nd is highly recommended to suffice any pizza, subs, pasta, burger cravings or whatever your heart desires. The long list of items from the menu will overwhelm you. There is a twin roll away bed in the closet-- no more than three (3) persons at a time to keep it spacious. The $27 (7 day) unlimited Metrocard was all worthy for our 4 night & 5 day stay. Subway stations and bus stops are 1-4 blocks or 5-15 mins walk depending on which lines you take. City/subway/bus maps, guides, and in person help can be found at the NY Visitor Center on 7th Ave. between 52nd St. & 53rd St. Duane Read (grocery store without fresh produce) is less than 1/2 block away-- so stock up to save some $$$$$. City Pass saved us a lot of time waiting in line and $. Enjoy!
