PRIVATE OUTDOOR HOT TUB
Two night min., sometimes three during the holidays and Spring Break. If you assist with the cleaning of the townhouse prior to your departure, I am almost always willing to work within your budget... within reason. ESPECIALLY FOR EXTENDED STAYS. I don't do credit cards, just checks or cash. I am the owner, maintenance man, hot tub jockey and occasional maid. This all equates to low overhead, and I pass that savings along to you. I'm real easy to do business with.
Extended stays/longer-term rentals of up to four weeks are always welcome, with significant savings over the nightly rates.
I AVOID ONE NIGHT STAYS... due to the cleaning trip required from my home in Denver. I might consider it, but at a premium over my published prices. By "Assist with cleaning", I ask the following of guests:
* Vacuum * Change linens/make beds * Leave a clean/swept eating area & kitchen * Run the dishwasher, washer/dryer as you depart
I always handle the bathroom cleaning through my cleaning service, and make between-guest visits to make sure all is in order and ready for your visit.
The townhouse is part of the Sawmill Station Development, completed in 2005. It is located in downtown Winter Park (on the Southeast side of town), in the recently completed SawMill Station development. This quiet location is AWAY FROM THE TRAIN, yet it offers easy access to all the stores and restaurants in town, and the many paved and unpaved bike and hiking trails surrounding Winter Park and Fraser.
It is within walking distance of Hideaway Park, and the new outdoor theater and new skate park - all a three-minute walk from the townhouse. There also a kiddie park on the site. All this will be completed by the 2008 summer season! Great for families with younger children. Plenty to keep them entertained and busy.
During the Ski Season, the property is on the free Shuttle Route to Winter Park and Mary Jane ski resorts. The shuttle picks you up 30 yards from the townhouse and drops you off at the townhouse front door. The ski resort is just five minutes away by car or shuttle.
SawMill Station is bordered on the East by the Fraser River and the Fraser River open space, and on the West, by Vasquez Creek. You can easily walk or ride your bike to any Winter Park location in minutes. The townhouse is near ski rentals, bike rentals, the visitor center and the town park. It is also only five minutes by car or shuttle to the Fraser Tubing Hill.
The townhouse has 1250 sq. ft. of living space, with a private large heated garage. The decor is rustic log. It has a cozy gas fireplace in the main living area. The townhouse is sunny and bright, well appointed and well maintained and has everything you would need for your stay, including a washer & dryer. The dining area seats six (table & breakfast bar). The kitchen has granite countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, and all you would require to do your own cooking. There are even chilled beer mugs in the fridge, should you want to enjoy an adult beverage or two.
The property has two decks and a back patio with a private hot tub, and four large comfortable Adirondack Chairs for use on the decks, patio or inside for more seating.
The master bedroom has a private full bath and a king size log bed. The second bedroom has log bunk beds, (80") long/tall twin on top and long/tall full on the bottom. The second bedroom also has it's own private full bath. There is also a pullout queen bed in the living room. The townhouse can comfortably sleep seven (assuming a child or two for the bunkbed), or six adults.
Summer Mountain Bikers - the garage is very long (deep), perfect for storing your bikes.
Winter guests - the garage is also heated, and again plenty of room to store, or work on your skis or snowboards.
Hot Tub: The private outdoor hot tub is owned and maintained by me, not some service. It seats five people comfortably, and is always sparkling clean. If the water appears foamy, cloudy or unsanitary... I dump it and refill it myself. This is not the case for many absentee owners and property managed units.
The townhouse is in the best location in Winter Park (if I do say so myself). Many of my customers are repeat guests, Colorado locals and people from out of the state. It is a nice, clean, comfortable place, in a great location or they wouldn't keep commin' back. And did I mention.... away from the train.
