My husband and I were married in October of 2010. With this marriage came three children of my own and two of his. We wanted to take a family vacation with all of us together and this was the perfect setup for us. It couldn't have worked out better. Everyone had their own space and loved having tv's in their own rooms. It was perfect access to the beach and just a short drive to the Beach club. Thank you again Fran for renting out your home to us. This is a vacation we will always remember.

The Pointe West neighborhood is just perfect for "beach going"!! The house has EVERYTHING! We were very comfortable and had plenty of room for our house full (5 families!) Excellent views of the beach and the Resort areas were perfect for swimming and enjoyment! Thanks for a great Summer Vacation get-away for our bunch!! We have terrific memories of a great time at the beach! San Antonio-Round Rock-Dallas area---would love to do it again!

Enjoyed our week long stay at Blue Beaches! Great house, great location and helpful owners. Lovely furnishings, plenty of space and bathrooms and the hammock is a nice touch. Visited both Pointe West pools with the kids and enjoyed them both. We used a wagon for our young kids to take them the short walk to the beach crossover. That was helpful! Would love the house even more if they had a gas grill instead of charcoal. Otherwise, no complaints and would rent here again!

An awesome vacation

Our daughters and husbands and grandchildren had an awesome time at the beach and in the beach house. My grandchildren are still saying, almost a month later, "We want to go back to the beach house". It is so roomy and we had good beds for everyone and enough bathrooms, so there was no waiting. The house is well-equipped and the owners are so nice. We also enjoyed Capt. Bob. He was very helpful. All in all, we would go back to this house in an instant.

This was our second year to spend a relaxing weekend at Blue Beaches. The owner is super easy to work with and Captain Bob is very helpful and always on time. We have stayed in many beach condos and homes over the years and this is by far one of the very best. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and lots of little extras. We will defintely be back!

Mid April Getaway

We loved staying at Blue Beaches. We were looking to get away and this was the perfect spot. The weather was perfect! A great perk about this rental is access to the beach club (pool, bar, restaurant) on the gulf side and another pool on the bay side. On one of the days we were there, the wind was blowing ~30mph, but we never felt it on the bay side. We look forward to returning in the future!

Relaxing and fun for a family vacation!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation while staying at Blue Beaches. Captain Bob started us off by promptly checking us in and letting us know where things around the neighborhood were located. This beautifully decorated home let us feel at ease during the time we were not enjoying the nearby beaches and pool club. The kitchen is efficient and well equipped, not the usual Spartan equipped rental, so we could prepare the majority of family meals there. The fountain is great and lit at night so our time on the balcony was relaxing as well. Close proximity to the beach allowed us many leisurely walks and the overpass bridges allow you to get there without running into any potential "critters" or disturbing their habitat. You can walk to the pool club although we drove most of the time so the kids could get right to swimming. Listing and photos are very accurate, and everything was delivered clean. When I had a question, the owner called or texted me back almost immediately with helpful information. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a house rental in this area.

Comfortable, high-quality beach house

Our 9 person group was very happy with the well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms, and spacious decks. We very much enjoyed walking just a couple of minutes to get to the beach. The Beach Club, with its pool, hot tub, fitness center, and ping-pong, is available and well worth visiting.

It was a perfect house to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday! We loved the beach, used the hot tub at the resort and had lots of good family time in the house. Wonderful Beach House!

We rented this house with with another family for Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room in the house for both families and the kitchen had everything we needed! We loved being able to walk to the beach and also having the large yard for the kids to play in under the house. We also enjoyed using the pool at the Beach Club! I highly recommend this property!

We could easily walk to the beach and everyone enjoyed fishing in the pond. Fran is a delight to work with. We saw beautiful sunsets from our porches and enjoyed the breeze. The lower level was great for the kids to play and for cooking on the grill. And the outside shower really helps after being at the beach! The master bedroom is not only very large and beautiful, but the bed is so comfortable. We highly recommend this property.

Blue Beaches is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Galveston Island. The house is very well equipped and the location is perfect. A short walk takes you onto the beach and you can even walk to the Beach Club. We had a great time and will recommend it to everyone who is looking for a lovely get away.

The house was beautifully decorated and very welll maintained. We found this home online, so everything I read online was accurate. Our family of 10 (three generations) truly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, beds so comfortable, and could not get enough of both the beach and pool areas. We ventured out once, but really just wanted to return back to the house for quality family time, to share family meals. I appreciated the well-stock kitchen. The house was very much up to our expectations! We loved the layout and it was very spacious. The beach is really close and wasn't crowded. Also loved that the outdoor shower was heated. Would definitely recommend.

Very close and easy access to the beach!! Great house!! Lots of room and amenities! Loved that the house was away from town, but still not to far, and the beach wasn't crowded!! The property was as described. Very nice and roomy!! Loved the outside shower and that it was heated a definite plus! Would highly recommend!!

Our trip to Galveston

This was an awesome location, perfect amount of space, and by far our favorite beach house yet. We have gone down to Galveston with our family of 4 and another family of 4 for 3 years now. Of the 3 houses we stayed at, this one had everything. The location of the house was very close to the beach so we walked down there which was nice versus always having to drive. The inside of the home was layed out very well so we didn't feel cramped having two family's in the house. We will definitely stay there again!

Fabulous Reunion

My family and I stayed at Blue Beaches for 5 days during the month of June for an adoption reunion and had a spectacular time! The home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and accomodated 10 of us with no problem. Having an outside shower really helped when we returned from the beach each day. The beach was only a short walk away, and was nice and uncrowded. The home is close enough to all the attractions, but far enough to be private and relaxing. The Pointe West Beach Club facility was especially nice, with beautiful pools, fitness center and food all right there. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We had a memorable time with our kids and grandkids. Easy access to the beach, and we really enjoyed the beach club. Hope we get to come back some time. It was our first stay on the west end of the island, and it was a great way to do it.

We enjoyed our time at your beach house. It was just right for the adults and the children (7-14 years old). The beach club is great. Loved the beach! You have done a lovely job of decorating and enjoyed the many sayings you had around the house, especially the one over the downstairs bedroom. The house is exceptionally well stocked with cooking equipment, serving dishes and dinnerware. The two kingsize beds are greatly appreciated as our guys are 6'4". We spent a lot of time on the balconies as they are shaded most of the day and there seems to be a delightful gulf breeze most of the time (Great for drinking your morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.) We plan to return in October. We were at the house 90 minutes after leaving our home in far northwest Houston.
