After traveling throughout Brazil for seven weeks on a Brazilian "sampler" tour, my husband and I were ready for some rest and relaxation at the end of our trip. And we certainly found it in Buzios. The house is even better than the photos on VRBO, very lovely indeed, and in an excellent, central location convenient to everything. Gino was a pleasure to deal with and made finalizing the details very easy. We liked Buzios and this house so much we are returning to Florida from South Africa via Buzios next year. If you are lucky enough to be there for an extended period of time, suggest you take a day and drive to Cabo Frio, only 30 minutes away on a good road, where you will experience yet another wonderful Brazilian locale. We LOVE Brazil but Buzios in the best!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family of 10 spent a week at this beautiful home this past May. It was as advertised - spacious, comfortable, close to the beach, incredible views. This was a good time of year to go as the crowds are much smaller and the weather is still good. Spend a little extra and hire the housekeepers - they are well worth it and make everything easier since English is spoken. The home owner went above and beyond in helping us get transportation to and from Rio and answering my million questions. This is a great place at a great price!
