This charming spacious apartment is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, off the famous Avenida Da Liberdade. Only five minutes away from the Rossio, ten minutes from Praça Marquès de Pombal, and very close to the Metro station Avenida. Parking is available along Ave. Da Liberdade and in the underground parking space at Praça Restauradores.

This is a bright, atmospheric inviting apartment with its own private garden. It has two bedrooms, a big double living-room overlooking the garden, one big bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen.

Most attractions are within walking distance or accessible either by bus, metro or cable car. Alfama is very easily reached, as well as the Chiado, Barrio Alto and Baixa. Avenida Da Liberdade offers unique shopping. A ten minute walk through the Rossio and the Baixa will take you down to the Cais do Sodre train station to catch a train to Estoril, Caiscais or Sintra.

This lovely apartment is newly renovated (2009!) and with its private courtyard and garden it will make you feel right at home in exquisite Lisbon.

  • My wife and I stayed at this lovely apartment in central Lisbon in mid-October 2009. The owner has completely renovated and furnished it. It is very comfortable and a great location. There is a very comfortable master bedroom, a small guest room and a convertible sofabed in the living room. The bathroom is spotless and spacious. She put in a new shower with an enormous showerhead that I wanted to take home. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is a nice dining area and table for six, and several sitting areas in the living room areas. In the rear there is a garden with beautiful flowers and plants and a table for outdoor dining. This apartment is located a couple of blocks off the Avenida. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to great restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere in Lisbon, although there is public transit nearby. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We enjoyed visiting Barrio Alto, Chiado and Alfama, but this is a perfect spot to return to after an evening out. Martine, the owner, has a friend, Ricki, who will meet you and show you around. He is great. He was waiting at the apartment when we arrived, he gave us the tour, explained how to work everything, told us about the neighborhood and where we could buy groceries, etc. He gave us great suggestions on where to go and what to do in Lisbon. Having lived in the States for years, Ricki's English is fluent. Altogether, this was a great place to stay and a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return to Lisbon because there is so much we did not have a chance to see or do.
