Why the Owner Chose Hayes Valley
Hayes Valley is a fantastic location. Very convenient, affordable, trendy, artsy, and diverse. I can walk to Alamo Square Park, Symphony Hall, Civic Center farmer's market, lower Haight. A short bike/bus ride to Japantown, Haight Ashbury, the Mission, the Castro, Golden Gate Park, the Ferry building, the Fillmore district, and all that San Francisco has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
I love to browse in the Hayes Valley shops. The independent designer boutiques provide endless inspiration. Hayes Valley is also known for it's restaurants -- internationally renowned cuisine with a small-scale neighborhood feel.
Large, beautiful park on a hill with sweeping views. Home of the "Painted Ladies" row of Victorian houses with the San Fransisco skyline in the background (also featured on the TV series "Full House")
Home to San Francisco City Hall, Symphony Hall, the Opera House, the Asian Art Museum, and the SF Public Library.
Weekly farmers' market on Wednesday and Sunday. International artisans' market on Thursdays.
Home to the legendary Fillmore music night club, Fillmore Jazz festival, many fun shops and restaurants.
Home of the newly reopened Academy of Sciences. http://www.calacademy.org/ 55 Music Concourse Dr., Golden Gate Park San Francisco, CA 94118 (415) 379-8000 calacademy.org
Owner's Map of Hayes Valley
I live in the upper unit in the building, so I know the neighborhood very well and can help guide you. I love to explore all that San Francisco has to offer, and to share my findings with visitors. I bike to work most days, and look forward to hearing what you discover while you're in San Francisco!
