Why the Owner Chose Los Angeles

Downtown Los Angeles is simply the most exciting, energetic, dynamic area of the city where all of the elements of the city come together in a unique mix. There are so many great restaurants, bars, museums, and events within walking distance. The people are also incredibly friendly and invested in continually improving the neighborhood; and let's not forget the treasure of early 20th century architecture, including the gorgeous Broadway theaters.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Being able to walk to whatever you need-within traffic-choked Los Angeles, this is a unique advantage of this neighborhood. I also love taking the subway to Hollywood or Pasadena without having to fight traffic or look for parking.

A
Nickel Diner

Best Breakfast and Lunch place downtown. Tell Kristen and Monica that Tim sent you. Try the bacon doughnut!

B
Wood Spoon

Delicious Brazilian cuisine.

C
Angelique Cafe

Nice French Bistro with reasonably priced food.

D
LA Live and Nokia Theater

Los Angeles' new destination point.

F
Subway Station

Take the Red Line to Hollywood or the Blue Line to Long Beach

G
Parking Garage

Parking is available at St. Vincent's Parking garage for $3 per day.

Fantastic dowtown loft

Guest: Sisters week in LA (Las Vegas, NV)

We had a wonderful four night stay in this beautiful loft. The location and conveniences couldn't have been better! The loft was VERY clean and was our comfy home. It was nice having a washer, dryer and computer available for us. One of our favorite aspects of this rental was going to the roof - day or night! We couldn't do a review without mentioning how helpful the doormen were and parking was a breeze! And free. Thank you Tim. We would rent this again in a heartbeat if we ever need to be in LA..

Contemporary downtown loft

This loft was ideal for my 9 days on campus at the nearby Chicago School of Professional Psychology (5 blocks away). It is clean, spacious, and offers an ideal respite between classes or work, and the owner and building staff were amazingly helpful. The neighborhood is safe, vibrant and fun...Lots to do! Don't miss the breakfast sandwiches at LA Cafe, Soi7 Thai, or the pastries at Louie a few blocks away.

Only 4 days in LA but this is an excellent base for all you want to see... The apartment is so central and has great bars and eateries nearby. So much better than an impersonal hotel, the apartment has literally all you would need.. Would deffo come back!

Awesome Loft with great situation

The loft is very beautiful, bigger than it looks on the pictures with really nice amenities (the oven, the fridge & the couch are awesome). The location is perfect, especially when you do not have a car like us. You can easily catch a bus to go everywhere, if you plan a little before. The owner was very helpful giving us tips for transport and everything. We really envoyed our stay in this loft, quiet & secure.

Loft in LA Historic Core

Guest: Anonymous
Date of Stay: 11/03/11 Review Submitted: 11/12/11

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. I was in Los Angeles for work and then my daughter joined me for a day to celebrate her birthday. I'm used to an urban setting, so the location was wonderful and the loft was perfect for my needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I got a great night's sleep (which is saying quite a lot). I would definitely return on my next trip to LA.

This loft is full of character and very comfortable. The location is superb. We loved walking round the historic core area and found great places to eat. You can walk to lots of interesting sights too. The owner was very helpful, I would recommend this over a hotel any day.

I Love (Downtown) LA!

Guest: phlinh (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)
Date of Stay: 05/20/11 Review Submitted: 05/28/11

In LA for a week of business meetings and stayed in Tim's loft in the heart of historic downtown LA. The location is excellent because it has easy access all the major freeways (10, 101, 5), allowing you to get anywhere within the greater LA area within 30 minutes. The loft is well maintained, clean and every amenity that you can think of is provided. For those who do not have a car, public transport is within walking distance (Pershing Square station). Clifton's Cafeteria is just around the corner for those who want to eat at a place with a lot of history. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.
