At dusk watch for the beaver who swims by regularly and finish up your day with a campfire under the stars.
You will have your own, private, cozy apartment on the lake. There are newly remodeled stone barn conversions built in the large grounds of the owners’ grade two listed home. The apartment is well equipped with gas range cooker, fridge/freezer, personal heating, TV, bathroom/WC with shower and an enclosed little private lake view garden with BBQ and garden furniture. Small library of books supplied.
Village pub, supermarket and other amenities are ten minutes away by car
There is also the possibility of cycle hire, boat hire and horse riding all approximately ten minutes away but the list of things to do in the area is, frankly, amazing. There is no other place with so many things to do, where you can get away, but still absorb the Italian lifestyle experience.
Finally, it's easy to reach the Rome by a very efficient railway service. From the nearby station of Anguillara Sabazia ( ten minutes by car) trains leave each 25 minutes to Rome St Peter's and Trastevere.
