Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2004

Another working retiree, formerly with the Department of Defense and happily enjoying the local folks and customs of the nearby North and South Carolina towns. I especially enjoy meeting and sharing information with folks not yet familar with the area. I work in my own Real Estate practice and specialize in the sale of Acreage, either for investment (including 1031 Exchanges) OR in finding folks a future home-site, second home or farm. Some properties, may just be on the market but, not all are "listed" and in the MLS..
I'm an avid animal lover who raises birds including Pea fowl and also have a dog or two.(One that doesn't know she's a dog).. I enjoy meeting sincere, honest people. I also find time to participate in Polk County's well being as a member of the Polk County Planning Board and was recently (2009) honored by being elected to the position of Chairman of the Board. I enjoy the seasonal changes, nature and God's incomparable creations like the species of animals found here in the mountains, Mountain scenery and waterfalls and the customs, folklure and the music, art and unique attractions I have found in this particular part of the United States.
