Take a 45 min. trip to neighboring Forks and check out where the popular "Twilight" book series originated. All these options await you. We stayed at this property for 4 nights. There were 6 of us. The house was , beautiful, clean and plenty of room for 6. The lake was beautiful. We even had the experience of a Bald Eagle fishing 10ft in front of us off the dock. The deck was wonderful for hanging out, dining, morning coffee. Ages 13 to 81 all enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend this house for a family getaway! Breathtaking! Easy access to the town of Port Angeles which has shopping and many resturants.

My family of five stayed at this lake house for four days and did not want to leave! The house is great-big rooms, clean and very well maintained. The landscape is gorgeous, huge, beautiful flower bushes surround the property. The lake is serene and calm in the early morning. It's nice to sit out on the deck and watch the canadian geese and the eagles then. The neighbors are very friendly. We also fell in love with the town of Port Angeles. It's a very clean, charming town. We will definately come back when we get a chance!

When I found this home the pictures and the price are what sold me. Little did I know, the pictures did not do this home and its surroundings justice. It has a breathtaking view and very nice accomodations, we stayed for a week and were sad to leave. We have already starting planning our next trip back to this house. The area is very secluded and the neighbors are very polite. There are tons of things to do in town but we found ourselves happiest just sitting on the deck eating smores and drinking hot chocolate. It is a great place for friends to get together or to have family time. I could not give this place a higher review and I thank the owners for making this home available to us, and making our vacation a memorable one!!!

We spent 2 days at this well maintained, beautiful house with my family who were visiting Seattle for the first... I couldn't have found a better place to showcase the beauty of the pacific northwest. Lake Sutherland right outside the living room window is beautiful beyond imagination, and the proximity to Port Angeles and other tourist spots in the Olympic national park proved to be very convenient. A special call out to the neighbors for their help, and for making us feel so much at home!

Lakeside Leisure was the highlight of our Olympic Peninsula vacation. This spacious and well appointed accommodation was perfect for our three generation family with grandparents and three teenagers. We arrived during a scorching heat spell, and the calm lake water and serene mountain view provided the antidote. The house is well stocked, and it is obvious that the owners gave great thought to their guests' comfort. The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful. Plus, all the beautiful places we saw nearby: Cape Flattery, Rialto Beach. Hoh Rainforest, Hurricane Ridge and Sol Duc. Many thanks for sharing your lovely home.

My wife, I, our 16-yr old son and his friend stayed at the Lake Sutherland house. We enjoyed every minute there. The neighbors/owner are charming and helpful. The house was pristine when we arrived and had everything we needed. The views over the lake are wonderful and serene. Our boys loved the fishing...and the fish stories! I'd recommend this rental to my friends and family.
