Our beautiful, 3-bedroom, 2000 square foot home is located just four miles from downtown Hood River, in White Salmon. Windsurfers and Kiteboarders in the Gorge agree that the best windsurfing is on the Washington side of the Columbia River. Our house is just a stone's throw away from the best sites (Hatchery, Swell City).
This nearly new home is well-furnished and includes parking for three vehicles (covered parking in the garage for one car as well as two parking spaces in front). There are top quality queen beds in two of the bedrooms and a comfortable double bed in the third. There is also a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms feature granite counters and the master bath contains a large tub with a Jacuzzi.
We have two large TVs with cable, DVD player, and Wi-Fi high-speed Internet. For those who must check in with work, there is an office area off the living room with a computer desk. Unlimited long distance phone calling within the United States is included.
There are tons of activities to do in the Gorge. In addition to windsurfing and kiteboarding there are plenty of trails nearby where you can hike, mountain bike, or horseback ride. In the wintertime there is excellent skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, which is only about 40 minutes south of White Salmon. Of course, you may just want to stay at the home and have a barbeque while enjoying the view of Mt. Hood from the deck or have a picnic in the grassy backyard.

This famous windsurfing site is usually simply referred to as "The Hatch". With the action so close to shore, it is an ideal place to watch or take pictures.
