Dutch colonial style summer rental home. Large first floor wide open porch with water views: Porch suitable for summer dining and relaxing. Outdoor shower. Public park within 50 yards with additional parking spaces. Safe, friendly, family-oriented neighborhood beach community.

Inside, first level refinished oak wood floors, field stone gas log fireplace, galley kitchen and open floor plan dining and living area. Half-bathroom on first floor. Rear covered porch, and large basement accessible from exterior and interior for storage of bikes and small water crafts.

Second floor enclosed sun porch off master bedroom with wonderful water views of Long Island Sound.

  • Spent a very enjoyable month in this large, comfy home. Owner is honest, responsible and always available should you have a question or a problem. Kitchen was equipped with lots of useful utensils and serving pieces. Lovely, safe area in friendly neighborhood. Enjoyed spending time on the big front porch and taking long walks along the beachfront. Great place to stay.

  • During our first stay in the U.S. we had a comfortable break in this lovely house. We also enjoyed the garden and the atmosphere of the house very much. Equipment and storage space were perfect. Other great advantages were the friendly and helpful neighbours and the very short walking distance to the beach.We really can recommend this house for a relaxing family break.

  • We had a wonderful stay with our family of 4. The home was warm and comfortable. We were able to relax, and walk to the beach which was really 'steps away'. The whole package is awesome and I recommend it highly to anyone who needs a break in the action, or a little privacy away from home (At the same time this location provides major shopping and entertainment close by). Accessing the internet was easy and there is even a printer setup if you need to pop out some info. Our vacation at 18 Beach will remain a very special time in our lives thanks to our comfortable stay at this guest house.
