We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The owner of the condo was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. The condo was perfect. The view was amazing! There was plenty of room which was wonderful since we brought our 2 year old son. He had plenty of room to play. Just about everything you need is right there. The kitchen is fully stocked (except for food obviously), the bathrooms have all the starter soaps you need until you can get to the store, and all of your towels. The only thing we didn't know were not provided was the toilet paper (we ran out on the second day and had to buy more), and trash bags (but we just used grocery sacks). This may have been stated somewhere and I overlooked it. Our 2 year old loved sleeping on the bottom bunk of the bunk beds. We didnt think he would be able to but we found a safety rail in the washer/dryer closet so it made it safe for him to sleep there. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

The pictures do not do this condo justice. It was absolutely beautiful! The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful. She is the reason we booked the condo. She personally answered all of questions instead of sending me a generated computer response I will recommend this condo to all my friends and family

Convenient and Comfortable

We arrived for our Fall relaxation week at noon on a Monday. Theresa was very accomodating and we were able to get into the condo early even though it had been occupied the night before. Everything was clean and it was roomy for a 1 bedroom condo. The building is only the 4th down from the area where the October Shrimp Festival is held, so it was an easy walk. The property is also clean and parking was plentiful. The pool is a tad small, but seems adequate since it is at a smaller building. It was nice not to have to compete with hundreds of other renters for the elevator, parking, pool chairs and beach space. It was especially pleasant to sit and watch the dolphins swimming and jumping each morning as we ate breakfast. The condo is well stocked with kitchen supplies; but if you want any extra blankets, you might want to bring them along. Overall, we were very comfortable and would be delighted to go back for a stay.

This is absolutely , by far, the most bang for your buck condo in Gulf Shores!! The condo was immaculate, the view from the balcony is breathtaking, and I loved the fact that most things were in walking distance. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I cannot say enough , you will not be disappointed!

Great Vacation!

My husband and I had the best time in Gulf Shores. The condo was perfect and very accomodating. We could not have asked for anything more. The balcony view was great. We saw dolphins in the morning and late afternoons. The keyless entry was the best thing ever. No keys to keep up with! Easy walk or drive to several establishments. Tropical Isles is a very clean and quiet complex and staff were very friendly. Thanks to Theresa for making everything go so smoothly. Thanks to the van den Bulk family for sharing their condo with us. We will be back.

My family and I had a wonderful week at your condo. The location is perfect. The condo itself is clean and comfortable. Loved that is was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The pool and beach were never crowded and all the people staying at Tropic Isle were so nice. Thanks Theresa for being so helpful in answering my questions. Wonderful Stay!

We loved staying here!! We have 2 children, 3 and 6 years old and it was great for them. They stayed in the bunk bed in the hall (used supplied bed rail for the top). The access to the beach is perfect, the view amazing and the decor cute and tasteful. The building is relatively small so elevator waits were short, the pool uncrowded and beach also! The ONLY thing I would request to make the stay better would be to have another bed rail for the bottom bunk. I only worried because the flooring next to the bed is tile. I hope that we can back to this condo this winter, one of our best family vacations!!

This was a very nice condo. The unit was spotless and well decorated. It was a plus having the private bedroom and bath and having the extra 1/2 bath. It is right on the beach and the beach was beautiful, with nice white sand and clear water. We were there in March and also enjoyed the heated swimming pool in the evenings. The location was excellent with restaurants, shopping and entertainment close by. Owner was pleasant and helpful. I look forward to staying here again and would definately recommend this condo.

nice stay but bunkbed was tight squeeze

This was a lovely condo, with nice furnishings and a lovely view the beach. However the bunkbed was a tight squeeze. After my son hit his head on the top of the bunk bed we moved into the floor. We also enjoyed the keyless locks so we didn't have to bring a key to the beach.

We loved it! First, the place was spotless and had all the necessary amenities (coffee pot, ironing board, TV, etc.) Very comfortable and roomy. Obviously well maintained. The owners were helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. More important, the view right on the balcony is stunning. Great way to start the morning. Getting down to the beach was just a quick elevator ride (also nice if you forget something). The white sand was soft and inviting. Beach area gorgeous and not too crowded. Chairs available. All the people were friendly. It was refreshing to be able to walk to the restaurants for delicious seafood and drinks (and not worry about driving). The evening stroll on the beach was peaceful and romantic. Highly recommend. Not one thing to complain about. I absolutely recommend and plan on returning. Well worth the price.

Perfect for my husband and myself as we did not want a large, high-rise condo with hundreds of tenants. Great view, right on the beach, and a great location to The Hangout. Would go back again and again!

We have one child, age 6 months and this was the perfect condo for us. Just the right amount of space. The beach was not overly crowded and the view from the balcony is great.

Perfect Oceanfront Getaway

We rented for the first time using this site online. We were very nervous about doing business over the internet. Called and talked with Theresa and she confirmed everything & told us all the details of the condo and the area. Result: 5 fabulous Sunny days! Condo was decorated in a nautical theme, very comfortable not fancy. Beach is beautiful white sand, less people and traffic was less, unlike Florida. We took in Charter Fishing that was recommended from green store across the road. My husband caught a 20lb Red Snapper and we also caught 7 Sheephead and 1 Pompanu on the canal at the mouth of the Gulf. A good nights fish dinner that we cooked in the condo kitchen! We walked the beach alot and walked to almost all the restaurants...DeSoto's pecan encrusted Mahi Mahi the Best! Shopped in Foley and rest of the time was spent relaxing on the Beach. Highly recommend this condo!

This condo was perfect for my family of 4 with 2 kids. The condo is very clean with very nice furnishings. In fact everything seemed brand new. We couldn't believe how nice it was. The queen sleeper in the main area was great. The condo has a direct view of the coast and the balconies are extra deep for plenty of room (it's probably 8 to 10 feet from the sliding door to the rail) and have tile floor. It was great just sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins in the morning. Plenty of restaurant options are within 2 miles of the condo. Even a water park is right down the street, but all we needed was the pool and great beach at the condo. The owners were very kind and answered all our questions. They also are very quick with responses to email and getting our deposit returned. We plan to return to this condo and highly recommend it for any family looking for a great getaway to the beautiful beaches of the Alabama coast.
