As soon as we arrive, we are relaxed. There is always a slight breeze that lets us know we are "at the beach". We hear it in the rustling of the palm trees and we can smell it in the salt of the ocean breeze. The many different marine birds that have come to feast in the marsh during low tide also welcome us to this beautiful part of the country.
When tides change, we are reminded that fishing trips need to be planned. We are so thankful to be at a place on the creek that is so close to the ocean. We can either fish in the inlet all day, or plan an ocean trip. (The boat ramp is next door to the house.)
When we choose not to fish, we know that we can play tennis, or golf, or go to the beach. There is also a gorgeous pool, here at the house, if we do not want to leave.
There are two nice dining clubs here in the community if we decide to eat out, and do not want to leave. It is our home away from home!

Our family is active and loves the outdoors! We like being involved in sports and activities like hunting, fishing, running, and taking long walks on the beach.
Why the Owner Chose Georgetown
After spending close to twenty years coming to this beach community with parents, we decided that it was time to have our own place for our own family, especially with access to the ocean so we could fish. We love that DeBordieu is still a quiet gated place that our family feels safe and welcome, year round.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We like having our own pool and dock on the creek. It is also nice that we are only minutes away from the beach, Beach Club, and the golf course. The tennis club is practically across the street.
The morning sunrise over the marsh is always spectacular, and always different, everyday.
This house is on a cul-de-sac on a point in the marsh. It makes for a quiet setting and a great view. We couln't ask for better!
