Conveniently located in an all-season playground- Water Sports, Boating, Fishing, Biking, Hiking, Golf, Hunting, Casino, Snow skiing in the U.P. less than an hour drive.
We're located on a Peninsula/Cul de Sac surrounded by Lakes- no traffic! Located close to the towns of Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Mercer, Minocqua, St. Germain. Eagle River, the Apostle Islands, and Lake Superior are just a day trip away.
OUR LAKES OFFER EXCELLENT WATER QUALITY IN SUMMER, AND THE AREA IS THE SNOWMOBILE CAPITOL IN WINTER!
Our Home can comfortably accommodate 10 people. There is a Queen in Master, 3 doubles and a queen in 2 large Bedrooms, 3 full baths (Huge Master); 3 Fireplaces (2 gas), Office, Entertainment/Bar on lower level; surround sound satellite upstairs and downstairs, WI-FI, Deck, Enclosed Porch; Fire pit.
There is also a detached 3 season building ideal for more bedding, card/table games, or quiet time. We have 2 docks (1 canopied w/electric shore station) for your boats. Our house is loaded w/too many amenities to list. CHECK THE ATTACHED LINK FOR MORE LOCAL INFO.
Please, no smoking or pets in the house. You must be at least 30 to rent. $125 Cleaning Fee. $200 Deposit to secure your time.
This is truly a dream vacation destination! Perfect for a week with family(s) or friends. Imagine gazing out on the Lake through 25' windows; or seeing the Hummingbirds buzz around you on the deck.
Watch the boats and snowmobiles come zooming down the lake, only to watch them turn right and never enter your "private" bay; Or fly out of it towing your Tubers and Skiiers. Bald Eagles soaring overhead while you float motionless on a raft; or watching the Beaver, Muskrat, and Ducks swim across the bay. Howl with the Wolves as the full moon rises; reply to the lonely call of a loon.
Roast smores and tell ghost stories around a crackling fire; stare up at a brilliant night sky while satellites (and UFO's?) criss-cross the canvas. The deer come right up to the Salt Lick in winter; while songbirds flit from feeder to feeder.

From the land of sky blue waters...this is truly God's Country. Any time of the year is a great time to come here and get away from it all! You are 4 hours drive from Twin Cities or Milwaukee; 6 hours from Chicago; There is scheduled air service from Rhinelander WI, Ironwood MI, Wausau WI and seasonal service from Minocqua and Eagle River. The local airport is only 2 miles away.

With the advent of enhanced technology in communications, we can come up here and not be out of touch with the world. On the other hand, there is no better place to be able to Tune out and drop in to the reality of this Beautiful Natural Environment.

This house is beautiful. Everything in this house is high end! The view from the deck and dock is unbelieveable. My kids were able to swim right off the pier. Nice sandy bottom. The hummingbirds feed right in front of you. I can't say enough about this home. We had such a wonderful time. We have been coming to Manitowish Waters for 15 years and this by far has been the best place ! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. We would love to return!!!!

The summers in St. Louis can be very hot. This unbelievable getaway in Northern Wisconsin was perfect for my family of 5 and extended family that came along. The cottage was gorgeous inside and we can't wait to do it again this summer!
