This heritage brick house was built in the 1880`s by descendants of the United Empire Loyalists. It has been lovingly restored to respect its authenticity and charm. The house is fully furnished with tasteful antiques placed alongside more contemporary pieces. The overall look is "comfortable country".
The 3 roomy bedrooms, on the second floor, have 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 2 twin beds for a quiet and restful sleep after a day of skiing at Sutton or Bromont or a summer's day spent on the beach in Knowlton. The large bathroom has a 4`x4` shower and a cast iron clawfoot bathtub.
The bright and spacious country kitchen is perfect for boisterous breakfasts en famille or a gathering of friends for a glass of wine and good conversation. The dining room, with a view of the mountains, is ideal for holiday dinners. A small library/study full of interesting literature is just off the dining room. You are sure to find a novel to immerse yourself in. A wood stove in the living room helps to create a relaxing ambiance at the end of a winter`s day.
A washer and dryer are located in the basement for your convenience.
