This recently updated cottage is a perfect getaway for someone looking to rest and relax. Located in Mattituck close to all! It is just a short walk to the beach or shops. The cottage is on a quiet side street.
The manicured lawn is a perfect place for a BBQ or relaxing on the hammock. There is a picnic table in the backyard for a meal under the stars.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed. Linens are included with the rental (sheets/blankets/bath towels) but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. There is a living room with a sofa bed, TV with cable and DVD player, and internet.
The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The dining area has space for 6. Wi-Fi is also available. There is also an outside shower. Bring your boat, there is dock space on a creek available across the street for an additional fee.
Mattituck has a lot to offer. Beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, quaint shops, an abundance of wineries, live theater and so much more. The cottage is a short walk to the Hampton Jitney and train station. It is the ideal place for a summer vacation.
Our weeks are considered Saturday at 1pm to Saturday at 10am. We are always willing to adjust the days to accommodate your needs if available.

July & August... $1,300/week or $4,700/month
Jan to May and Oct to December... $1200/month
$200 refundable security deposit is required upon check in
50% deposit is required upon reservation confirmation, balance due 2 weeks prior
to arrival. Deposit is non refundable if cancelling 30 days before rental begins.

If I had to give a review on customer service alone I would have to give Karen and her family an A+. We just happened to book our vacation week when Hurricane Irene hit NY. Karen was very amendable and worked with us the whole week first as we awaited the storm then as we waited for the power to turn on. She wrote me emails more than once a day to update us on the situation and prorated us from one week to one night!! Thanks Karen!!! She was very welcoming to us and our two dogs. Even though we only had the opportunity to spend one night in Karen's rental it was worthwhile. It has a great location close to Love Lane and Veteran's Beach as well as other area beaches. It is a cute cottage and we enjoyed our short stay. As a pet owner this was a great way to go on vacation with our lovable canines.
Recommended for:Pet owners.

I was able to book the house from Colorado via email and phone calls, it was a pleasant experience and everything went as expected. The house is small, but we were able to fit 7 people comfortably. The house was clean and the yard was beautiful. It is a great place to stay if you want a quiet neighborhood. Close to the grocery store and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We were in the area for a wedding weekend, it was a perfect home base.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We liked staying at the house a lot! It is cozy and quiet. It is very well looked after and clean. The kitchen cabinets are filled with anything you might need when cooking. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable to sleep on and the living room has two sofas which could be converted to beds. The house has a cable TV and is getting a wireless signal for the internet. The basement is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. Outside there are table with benches, an outdoor shower, hammock, and charcoal grill. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and also close to a supermarket. The owners live across the street from the house and are friendly and accommodating to your needs people. Perfect for people with small kids. I would highly recommend staying in the house to anyone wishing to have a worry-free vacation.

We were needing a place to stay immediately, we were so lucky this Getaway was available. We were so nicely suprised at the warmth of the cottage, it had so many extra's we were very happy to have spent our time there with our family close enough for visits, we will be back in the Fall.

We stayed in this North Fork Getaway for 2 weeks and found it to be lovely. The time we spent was most restful. The house had all the amenities of home. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway from the hectic life we lead. It was nice to wake up to hear the birds chirping and to sit outside at the table for a morning cup of coffee. The afternoons were spent lazing in the hammock or just sitting outside and reading. There is a creek across the street that we were able to go fishing in when we wanted. I would highly recommend staying here. Close enough to walk to the stores and public transportation, but quiet and peaceful to get away from it all.

We live in the mountains of upstate New York. We wanted someplace that was near to the beach for a change of scenery. We stayed at this cottage for a week and we found it most delightful. The beaches were nearby. The local is perfect for friends to arrive by train or bus. The cottage was better than described in the ad. It was a most enjoyable and relaxing week.
