We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage was immaculate and cozy with a lovely, sparkling pool. The property surrounding the cottage is so peaceful with beautiful gardens and a stunning view of the mountains. The owner, Colette was so warm and welcoming during our stay. We especially loved being greeted by the owners adorable dogs when we arrived back at the cottage. This property is truly a little paradise in Montecito. We will definitely be returning!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was a great place for a nice break for my husband, 9-year-old son and me. We enjoyed the views the pool deck of the mountains right above Colette's own house and garden. The stars were especially bright at this location, away from the lights of Los Angeles. We enjoyed tennis every day and the spa at night. The cottage was the perfect size and very comfortable for the 3 of us.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay in this most unbelievable cottage..... It was the most amazing experience for both of us. The location could not have been better... Close to everything by car....hiking trails... The beach.... Fabulous restaurants.... Great shopping.... Great outdoor produce markets....Colette met us upon our arrival and showed us to the cottage.... We walked in.... No surprises.... Everything was perfect.... Decorated so tastefully.... It was for sure the most relaxing trip we have ever taken.... Leaving was the hardest.... This cottage is a find.... We would highly recommend it and we promise it would be an experience that you would forever remember.... Like us!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at Colette's charming guest house for a weekend getaway and it was EXACTLY what the doctor ordered! Plenty of privacy, utterly charming and quiet. The weather was perfection while we were there so we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub each day. The pictures are true to what the place is like as well. Colette was a wonderful hostess and the dogs were hilarious, well trained in how to get treats from visitors. Nothing was walkable but that was fine for us because we just wanted to stay in most of the time. When we did venture out, it took only a few minutes to get anywhere. HIGHLY recommend this wonderful guest house!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, 9 month old daughter and I spent a perfect week at Colette's guest cottage. The description and photos are spot on - it's charming, very comfortable (great bed!), nicely decorated, peaceful and private. Having the pool right out the front door made our week! Colette was a wonderful hostess, readily available for questions and requests. She stopped by a few times to be sure we had everything we needed, but was completely unobtrusive. We really felt like we had the place to ourselves. Her sweet and very nicely behaved dogs would frequently stop by for a quick visit. Our daughter adored them! We cooked most meals at the house- there's a nice bbq on the pool deck and the kitchen is equipped with the basics (a collander would be a good addition!). The linens were amply stocked. The cottage was clean and tidy. We loved it and hope to be back someday! Thanks Collete!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had the most fantastic babymoon at Tabor lane cottage. It was such a treat to be able to relax by the pool in the sun (with the doggies). Colette was absolutely wonderful making us feel very at home and made some great restaurant recommendations! The cottage had everything we needed and offered complete privacy. All in all the perfect place for us! Thank you again for the most wonderful holiday, we loved it and highly recommend staying here, we will be sure to return! This Cottage is as close to perfect at one could expect. It is beautifully finished in every way. The setting is amazing - private gated property, secluded, comfortable, and well done. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It was such a lovely Cottage we did not want to leave to explore the surrounding area. The very friendly owner, Colette, greeted us warmly and ensured we were well informed about the Cottage and the surrounding Montecito, Santa Barbara and wine country. This was our first experience in the Santa Barbara area and we look forward to returning to the Cottage soon. We would absolutely recomment this property to family, friends, or anyone who appreciates cleanliness, quality and comfort.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Colette was the perfect host, orienting us to our surroundings and advising us on restaurants, activitles etc. Her property is beautifully appointed. clean, comfortable and conveniently located. By car, we were within 5 minutes to both beaches and hiking paths and about 10 minutes to the heart of Santa Barbara. I would certainly recommend this property!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My wife and I stayed at cottage and were very pleased with the entire experience. The owner lives in the main house next to the cottage. It is a private setting with beautiful landscaping. The owner was very accommodating. The cottage is well furnished and comfortable. Great location and ample parking. We would recommend this place to any couple looking for a clean, comfortable stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Everything was exactly as pictured and described - even better. Colette was very helpful, especially in recommending restaurants and beaches - we had one of the best meals of our lives at Trattoria Mollie in Montecito. We love dogs, so the visits from Milo and Daisy were a huge bonus, making us really feel at home. Swimming in a heated private pool right outside our door was a wonderful luxury. We recommend it highly.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Colette - we truly enjoyed our time at your special guest cottage. My wife, 17 yr old daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in August 2011 and look forward to a return. If you want to live life like the locals - swim in your own pool, play tennis on your court - enjoy beautiful mountain views, this is the place. Some nights we dined out - others we dined by the pool. We cooked steaks on the BBQ, enjoyed frequent visits from Colette's sweet dogs (Milo & Daisy), swam and played tennis every day - and truly relaxed. Much better than a hotel!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Photos and adjectives are insufficient to capture the luxury and charm of staying at this picturesque guest cottage. My boyfriend and I came for a 4-night getaway and it was perfect! Far better than a hotel. Fantastic pool with built in spa, tennis court, and hammock under a magnificent tree are all in yelling distance of the plush four poster bed. Very private and secluded location. The property owner Colette and her two adoreable dogs Daisy and Milo welcomed us warmly but were not at all intrusive. We can't wait to come back for another rejuvenating visit and highly recommend this listing!!!!!!!!!!!!! But please don't tell too many of your friends. :)Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The Guest Cottage is truly beautiful. Quite and calm, surrounded by well kept gardens, close to everything and Collette makes us feel so welcome. This is our favorite getaway spot and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and booked at the last minute. The owner was very nice and helpful with directions. We arrived late on Friday night and the owner met us and showed us around. The property is spectacular as a whole and the guest cottage is perfect for 2 people for a weekend getaway. Nothing better than opening your door and being 5 feet from a private pool. You don't get that at hotels! Also, about 15 feet from the front door is a private tennis court. The grounds are perfectly maintained. The cottage is a 5 minute drive from the 101, but it seems like you are in the middle of no where because of the privacy. We will be back to stay again soon. This place is top notch as is the owner. You will not be disappointed with this cottage!Recommended for: Romantic getaway

We stayed at this charming guest cottage for 5 nights (in the end!) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing description does not do it justice. It is very private and relaxing but in a very luxurious way. The linen is 5 star. Fabulous having the sole use of the swimming pool and tennis court just yards from the comfy sofa! Colette was very charming and welcoming as well as extremely useful regarding local knowledge and basically 'pointing us in the right direction'. We stayed five nights Sept 2009 and wanted to stay longer. All the amenities of a four star hotel and MORE - your own pool, tennis court, king size bed, gas bar-b-que, ping pong table are all there for your use. Fantastic stay in this beautiful and well appointed cottage. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the quintessential Montecito experience.
