Dear Guests,
Camellia Cottage is located close to downtown Ocean Springs restaurants and shops. It is also easily accessible to the beach a mile away. At the beach there is a fishing pier, walking path and a wonderful place to sit and watch the sun go down.
While the cottage has welcomed all guests it has a particular appeal to couples who come here to celebrate life events. We had our first surprise engagement here this spring. ( She said yes!)
Guests often comment, "This is even nicer than the pictures" and love the unexpected like a seasonal herb garden, and the resident cocker spaniel, Jolie. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is fully stocked or you can grill your dinner. The cottage is like your own New York apartment...small, intimate, tastefully decorated and geared for your comfort.
The cottage is nestled in among ancient live oaks, magnolias and beautiful winter blooming camellias. If you are lucky, you might catch a tree frog serenade, or hear the rhythm of the rain on the tin roof while lying on the king size memory foam bed in the sleeping loft.

- Pet Friendly : I love dogs, yet need to discuss yours to make sure there are no surprises and we both understand what is acceptable. Please give me a call regarding your pup Jeannie 770 985-1982 I love cats as well, but do not allow them due to guests allergies.
- Kid Friendly : This place is fine for older children, but not young children due to the spiral stiarcase. Therefore I cannot accept children under ten.
- Not Suitable for Children : Ask about age requirments. The spiral staircase is not suitable for young children (under 10) or for adults unable to climb stairs.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : 25
- Smoking Not Allowed : Smoking is not permitted inside or outside facility, and will cause forfiture of deposit.

This place was great! The pictures don't do it justice at all. The town of Ocean Springs has a great small town feel and the best southern hospitality I have ever seen. Jeanie made this a great relaxing get away. Could not ask for a better host.

Great location, Perfect setting, Wonderful hostess. The cottage is so private and secluded and is just perfect for two. We had an amazing week at the cottage and enjoyed exploring the area immensely. Thumbs WAY aloft!!
