Our guest house is located near downtown Ocean Springs on our very private three acre property known as "Camellia Hill." You will be surrounded by century old Live Oaks, stately Magnolias, as well as over fifty Camellia's. The guest house has just finished it's entire remodel including new furniture and appliances. The main floor has comfortable seating with two recliners as well as a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and a fifties retro dinette set! The bathroom, located on the main floor is reminiscent of a New York boutique hotel with it's glass sink and slate tiled shower. Up the spiral staircase is a dreamy sleeping loft where you can sink into a memory foam mattress atop the king size bed. The loft also has a writing desk, with WIFI capability, as well as a reading nook.

A word or two about Ocean Springs, Mississippi. This is still one of the best kept secrets of the Gulf Coast, located on the eastern shore of Biloxi Bay just twenty miles from Gulfport International Airport. The casinos with top name entertainment are minutes away as well as miles of sandy beaches. The town itself is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and is rife with restaurants, great shopping and local entertainment. Known for it's art and festivals it also has a museum for the renowned late artist, Walter Anderson. Shearwater Pottery is another must see and was created from the brother of Walter, Peter Anderson. A fall festival with Peter's namesake draws thousands of people in the fall. If you have wanderlust New Orleans as well as Mobile are easy day trips away. Every season is a good one in Ocean Springs, so we eagerly invite you to come and visit the beautiful "City of Discovery."

A security deposit of $200 is required to confirm a reservation, While we are pet friendly we ask that it be limited to a pet 25lbs. and under. There is a strict no smoking policy in and on the grounds, and will cause forfeiture of deposit if incurred. A deposit refund will be made within 7 days of your departure upon completion of guest house inspection.

PLEASE NOTE As charming and inviting as our guest house is, it may not be suitable for all. As a reminder the sleeping loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and the bathroom is located on the main floor, as well as a sleeper sofa that is suitable for two.

  • Camila Cottage Guest House is Outstanding. Far superior to any Hotel accommodations that you might otherwise consider. If you like the feeling of Home,family,kicking your shoes off and just unwinding from the fast pace, you will love this Guest House. It will be my first choice any time l stay on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
