My 5 week stay at Camellia Cottage far exceeded expectations. The cottage is absolutely adorable, the king bed in the loft was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The kitchen was well equipped to all me to cook the wonderful seafood I picked up in Biloxi at the seafood market. Everything was impeccably clean and furnishing are updated and classic. With so many unique art decorations, some done by the owner and her friends, each room is a delight for the eye and mind. The cottage has a nice size yard, which my dog enjoyed sunning in, with a wooded lot behind it - providing much privacy and encouraging visits from a wild turkey, 2 box turtles and a variety of other bayou wildlife. The owner is available and offers wonderful ideas for local attractions and restaurants. She went above and beyond when my dog decided to escape and enjoy a few hours of freedom in the woods. Jeannie came and sat with me, along with her companion pup, Jolee and a few cats, until my Stella decided to come home. Thanks Jeannie!! Downtown Ocean Springs is a short walk and the beach with a beautifully landscaped concrete walk is very close. Saturdays bring a fresh market with some delicious treats and hopefully your visit is timed when they close off Washington Street for the art fair. Local artist come out and sell their works. If you like casinos, they are close by and have wonderful restaurants and big name entertainment. Can't wait to return to see my new friends for life, Jeannie and Jolee. Don't miss this cottage - it's a must to stay at, but just not when I want it! ;-)

This place was great! The pictures don't do it justice at all. The town of Ocean Springs has a great small town feel and the best southern hospitality I have ever seen. Jeanie made this a great relaxing get away. Could not ask for a better host.

We stayed over 4 nights in August and would come here again over any other hotel in the the Biloxi / Ocean Springs area. The cottage has all the modern amenities and appointments, is roomy, comfortable, private and secluded and the owner is a pleasure to interact with. The price is also half of what you'd pay at one of the casino hotels. I recommend this place without reservation!

We visited for an extended stay in February 2010 and enjoyed it so much we came back for the month of April. The cottage is very private, very quiet and peaceful. The owner made sure we were comfortable and had everything we could want to make our stay more pleasant. Ocean Springs is a great little town for walking, loaded with restaurants and things to do, nice beaches...simple pleasures! Highly recommend a stay here for any excuse you can imagine - vacation or a getaway - just great!

I tend to be rather demanding in my requirements for accommodations, and I loved the Camellia Cottage in Ocean Springs. This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and very comfortable - especially the king sized bed. The owners have thought of everything and added little touches that really made the place special. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Camellia Hill." Jim, the owner was friendly, accomodating, and a pleasure to plan with. The cottage, which he and his family put much love and hard work into, was just what we were looking for. It was so comfortable, clean as a whistle, and in a great location, convenient to access along the Mississippi/Alabama coast and more. For those looking for a weekend getaway, or a longer restful vacation experience, "Camellia Hill" would be an ideal "home base." We are already planning to spend our anniversary there later in the year.

Our stay at Camilla Cottage was peaceful and serene, surrounded by ancient oak trees and nature at it's best, yet a very short drive to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Truly a gem as are the owners.

Camila Cottage Guest House is Outstanding. Far superior to any Hotel accommodations that you might otherwise consider.
