Great location in the Outer Banks--mile post 3.5. There are no houses on the beach in this part of Kitty Hawk so you have easy access since there is one house between you and the beach. The side street next to us makes it a short easy walk with the beach access right there.
The house is set up with 2 family rooms and extensive rear decking with fantastic views of the Ocean. We have a bottom level rec room with Pool Table, outdoor picnic area, grill, and shower. On the top level, there is a large kitchen and long dining room table for plenty of space with another outdoor eating area. Each Bedroom and Family Room has it's own TV with DVD players including one in the bottom level Rec Room.

Great location. Very clean and very comfortable. Minor issue with hot tub but owner remedied situation immediately. Very cooperative owner who went out of his way to make this a positive vacation experience. Would definitely rent this property again. Beach access was close and easy. Great views. We love Awful Arthur's restaurant. Had dinner there 3 days out of 4. Bartender Tony is the best. Outer Banks Brewing Station was pleasant diversion.

This is a great place to rent! The house was well appointed and supplied with everything we needed to have a relaxing week at the beach. The top deck has a great view of the beach and ocean. The kitchen was spacious and we made good use of it. The hot tub and game room kept us busy through out the week. The location was one of the best things we liked about the house. It was close to everything and it took us 4-5 minutes to get to the beach. You can't go wrong with the Second Wind.

The view is breathtaking !!! from the top deck. The cottage has plenty of room for privacy or party time. Very good location with little traffic and quiet neighdorhood. Would definitely recommend this property for a family looking for a place to have a wonderful vacation. Owner was very nice and accomadating. The house is safe for kids and animals and ocean just a hop, skip, and jump away. Well worth the money!!!

This was perfect for the relaxing vacation that I needed. you only have to walk one short block to cross over the sand dune and be on the water. I was concerned about a beach vacation in November but it was beautiful and quiet. When it was a little too chilly to walk the beach, I just went on the upper 2 decks and I could see the ocean, smell the salty air and hear the birds. The upper deck off the roof had reclining deck chairs and the night sky was clear and full of stars. it has a gorgeous view from the top floor and the upper 2 decks. I was able to take a lot of incredible pictures. It was nice to hear all the sounds of nature instead of the constant hum of traffic. This property was clean and well maintained . the owner was very helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property. It was easy to locate and is just a short drive to shops and dinning. The hardest part of this vacation was having to leave and go back to the real world.

Our group had an awesome time staying here! The owner was extremely easy to work with, and the house was so nice. The inside of the house looks even bigger than in the pictures--we had plenty of space. The beach was wonderful also. We could leave our beach chairs by the ocean all day without having anyone bother them. We had a great time on our vacation! :)

We stayed here last year, and it was wonderful, the house has everything you can think of when it comes to the kitchen, a cute little game room, with pool table, that we used on rainy days, the decks are very kid friendly!! They are all gated whitch made my stay very relaxing big plus for familys with children!!! Crib was also a plus! The house has many rooms, and we also brought another family with us, and we wern't bumping into each other at all, we had a great time, and took some beautiful pictures of the sun rising on the ocean from the balcony! Its a great deal and a great price! Thanks for our wonderful stay! Looking forward to it again!

This house was simply great. The main picture shows a great view of the outside and the hot tub is fabulous along with the upper deck views. The inside is very spacious and well kept. Numerous tv's and seating area with a large amount of rooms. The walk to the beach is very short, takes about 3 minutes, if that. Great location and great value for the price paid. Will definitely rent again. No complaints whatsoever.
