The master bedroom faces the water but has no blinds or curtains! Be prepared to watch the sun set AND rise.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The Tidewater complex was a little disappointing. The elevators took FOREVER! On Saturdays when checkins and checkouts were occurring we waited ~10 minutes for the elevator. The outdoor drink hut was closed most of the week and the indoor pool had some issues that closed it for a full day mid week. The condo itself was nice but in need of a deep cleaning and some overall upkeep. The carpet was so dirty that our feet and white socks were actually stained with dirt by the end of the day. Two of the bedrooms did not have any sheets provided for the beds at all. The towels were dirty upon checkin (which I noticed as I wiped my face with a white washcloth with black smudges on it). We had to talk with maintenance regarding the washing machine because it makes a loud knocking sound over and over when running. The maintenance response was the owner was going to let it go until it died. And the "fully stocked" kitchen was of course missing items that I would consider pretty basic. Overall I would not recommend this condo or the Tidewater complex and will not be returning with my family.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 15/18
