Enjoy 2000 sq. ft. of open-spaced, William Poole design, romantic cottage living with porch, vaulted ceilings, a lovely landscaped yard, table/chairs and grill. Bay Creek Golf and Beach Resort is a gated community with a private 2.7 mile beach along with signature Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus golf courses that were rated in the top 10 new golf courses in both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.
Our house is ideal for a golf-get-away with your golf buddies or a romantic vacation for couples. Located in the Hollies subdivision, a beautiful wooded section of Bay Creek Golf and Beach Resort, it is within walking distance of all main activities. Golf courses, tennis courts, beaches, swimming pool, Coach house tavern, etc.
The master suite has a designer bathroom, with jetted tub and shower and king sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and direct access to the 2nd bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds in a very roomy setup. Family board games, books, and movies are available for your entertainment.
Additional activities include: resort shops and upscale restaurants, daily sailings on the schooner, "Serenity", bike rentals, and paddle boats. Meander to downtown Cape Charles and have a drink at a local restaurant or a confectionary delight at the ice cream shop. Don't forget to check out what's playing at the Palace Theater. Enjoy Harbor parties, decoy carving events, craft fairs, pony penning (at Chincoteaque). Explore Tangier Island where Elizabethan dialects can still be heard. Drive Route 13 (an area Off 13 guide book is available) and discover local antique shops, historic homes and plantations. NASA's visitors' center on Wallops Island depicts the birth of man's space explorations. Visit the National Wildlife Refuge in Chincoteaque. Eastern Shore has sightings of over 200 bird species and is home to migratory birds. Fisherman's Island is a breeding ground for pelicans. Virginia Beach's oceanfront is a 30 min. drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. Here you will find maritime museums, Harbor Park, the MacArthur Shopping Mall and an aquarium at the Nauticus Maritime Center. Day trips to Williamsburg, VA (Bush Gardens or great outlets!) and Ocean City, MD (more outlets!!) are great family fun.

Sometimes it is hard to choose what to do, kayak on the Chesapeake bay, golf on either of the magnificent Bay Creek golf courses, walk the beach in search of sea glass or simply enjoy strolling down historic Cape Charles. Marian is happily married and owns two cats, Tom & Jerry.
